Alright guys, we're getting closer - is there anyone who can/wants to host a 20 person server?

We have 12 players so far, and a few folks waiting to confirm.

So apparently you have to be in the game the whole time to get the 50 bonus points. I am assuming you have to be on the winning team from the start to get it also.

There is a couple of check boxes next to the rank requirements now also. If you have the requirement it is checked. I wished they could put that into the awards section now so you don't have to keep checking stats.

Hero mode is ....different. It's basically a glorified Team Deathmatch. I am sure strategies will start to develop soon. I'm not sure if it was better to take your new found powers out and start killing, or hole up somewhere. Once you have a star on you it's usually no time before you have a squadron of Warhawks on top of you.

That was about all I had time to look at. I'll look at more later tonight.

I still don't see any offical servers back up. I know that the maintenence was between 10:00 and 16:00 but which region was the downtime for?

Really digging Hero Mode. I can't stand Team Death Match, since there are no goals and half the time you're looking for someone to kill on the bigger maps cause there is no common area to fight or fight for.

Hero Mode is like Team Death Match on steroids. Very cool. I have a good strategy for one map, however, it's fairly dependent on being near a certain place. It worked well for me this time, although my Hero Mode was cut quite short due to half my life being sapped by a TOW missle.

It also looks like even if you don't play the entire match on one team you still get "bonus" points. I only played one map for about 10 minutes and got 9 "bonus" points (or something like that). Others got the whole 50. I know some of you think 50 is too much, but I need 20,000 points for my next rank, I for one am glad to see I have a 50/50 chance of getting some extra points each game. 20,000 points takes a lot of time, even getting 60-100 points per game.

Looking forward to trying out Collection Mode soon.

I never liked the past points system people play but not that many people play that much, its almost impossible to get a rank in this game for the avg player.

Knife apparently is still a one shot deal even if your the Hero so keep an eye out on that.

As for the points I did get some bonus points for playing a partial game but I thought I had gotten a ribbon.

I am going to try out Collection Mode tonight I think, unless I see everyone out and about.

I like the new modes!! Though i been ending up on some teams with bad players! Collection is cool but not when people don't go score. Frustrating! Hero gets crazy...love it.

I'm really liking Hero - especially on small maps with few players. Loads of fun.

Now, all they need to do is combine Capture the Flag with Hero Mode!

Played Hero and Collection tonight. Like BlackLight said Collection is not too good when you are on a bad team. I tried a couple of different strategies tonight. The first I actively went after the er cannisters instead of worrying too much about keeping zones. If it was handy I took the zone back but otherwise kept trying to score. This seemed to work out good since we won both times like 50 to 25. Then tried to take all the zones away in one so the other team could not get to the cannisters. While we too a majority of the zones, they still seemed to get through and and score on us. We ended up losing that one so failed experiment.

Hero gets wild when the opposing Hero gets in a plane. I'm not sure I have ever seen like 10 warhawks on 1 person. It's crazy.

Oh and the city map (forgot what it was called) is a blast on the collection mode. It makes that center area nothing but constant destruction the whole game with the spawn point and all 4 collection points in the same area.

Should be fun!

Got the update as soon as I got home last night. Collection mode kinda sucks... plus I was waiting at the base to give/take extra cannisters for more points and the idiots on my team just kept running into the base panel

Hero mode is pretty cool, I even got to be the hero in my first match. Survived too The homing missles are insanely powerful when you are the hero.

Last note: Was anyone getting any bonus points for winning? I played three games and won all three but I got exactly zero bonus points. I never switched teams either. I was in all three games for the whole time except for about the first 20-30 seconds. No team switches either, what gives I saw that some of you guys got partial points for the time you played, but I got nothing
