On a side note... WHAT IS A LIGHTNING SHELL? Theres a trophy that says destroy an enemies APCs epod shield with a lightning shell. The only thing I can think of is the Warhawks Lightning gun but I tried that and it didnt do anything.

What am I missing?

It might have to be a fulyl charged lightning blast, i not sure.

And when i got hitlist, i was in a 16v16, i think it was full too.

Haven't gotten that close without one of us dying first.

Put me in the "Lovin' Jetpacks!" crowd. Although for Sat. game, we'll add a normal mode or two.

Between the update with ingame music etc. and the new game mode with the booster - it's just been Warhawk heaven for me. Great additions.

That's what I was thinking too. I haven't really been paying attention to what trophies are needed. I'm just playing and getting trophies here and there. Got two in the other game. One was where you release and air mine and someone hits it within seconds - thing is, I didn't even know he was behind me, I just dropped it off in what I thought was a strategic place. Hehe.

The other was arial ballet or something, basically, killing a guy in jetpack while you're flying in a jetpack as well.

Ok, so I'm still tentatively planning on assembling a small army of 10 so that we can rotate around and get the warlord trophy. By doing this, we'll each get 2 trophies:

Warlord - For running a clan with at least 10 people.

Enlistee - Joining a clan.

If we actually really wanted to, although it might be hard, we could try to arrange for a time to play a quick game together, and get the Rivalry trophy for winning a clan match.

I figured this is a good way for people, like me, that don't like/want/need to be in a clan, to get the clan-related trophies.

Anyhow, here's who we have so far (as BD.com names, not PSN names):

Thinking about buying war hawk....Is the online good like resistance fall of man.

I still play resistance due to no lag..smooth game play...and alot of people still play it...Plus i havent ranked all the way up yet on it.

In game music for war hawk sounds cool tho.

You don't need 3 in a row

Hat Trick -- Get three flag captures in a single round of CTF

Your flag needs to be home when you bring the enemies back for a capture.

I saw something very strange and disturbing today in Warhawk. People were lined up at the D-pod for jetpacks... lo and behold it was civilized. WTF?
No one pushing to be in front, no one tossing grenades or knifing their buddies in the back to get to a pack first.

This isn't the Warhawk I have come to love where teamates fight each other for vehicles and weapons. My favorite lately is teamates planes ramming me to get an air pickup just before I fly through it.



No doubt, Warhawk is an incredible game, it's the "people" that will make or break it for you. Play with the all too common "all about me" (on EITHER team) folks and things go sour real quick. Finding a good group of friends is key.

Actually, I saw someone knife a guy who jumped in front of him to get a pack - then, the guy came back with a flamethrower - while they were running in circles trying to kill eachother - I got a jetpack and flew away.

This isn't the Warhawk I have come to love where teamates fight each other for vehicles and weapons.

You can go back to loving Warhawk now.

EXACTLY. I have more fun when the Blu-Clan gets together and just plays against each other (not against other clans, or in a Sony server). It's fun playing with people who know it's a game. I think that's what the Blu-Clan does best - have fun.

You are a class act Cymbol and I'm glad you're the clan leader. I just wish the game had more ppl like you (minus the uber mining skills of course lol).


Does anyone know if there is a badge glitch in the game?
I have the GBL/IAR requirements for Master knife badge but I don't have the award.
I'm pretty sure I got the IAR score before I racked up the GBL total, so maybe one needs to get the IAR again AFTER you have met the GBL levels?

No, yes...

You need to grab the enemies flag and bring it back to your base.
Your flag must be at home base in order to score. Do this 3 times in one round for the trophy, the 3 captures do not have to be in succession.


Have you tried FCTF (fly with the flag) servers? Much easier to score in this mode.

So, exactly how "distant" is a distant enemy when killing someone from the top of the crane. Because I did it and didn't get a trophy....

Can you define chickenhawking for me? I've never heard that one before.

I remember the early days of Warhawk, where people would throw grenades at other people for "stealing" their tank or Warhawk. I still see it occasionally, and find it funny...unless they are doing it to me.

Ooh! Remember when Warhawk first came out - people used to kill eachother trying to get the backpack. I think they thought they got extra points or something from it. My favorite though was people teamkilling so they could "capture" the flag.

In general, things are much better - Warhawk has been around long enough now, that mainly it's just the fans playing now. Of course, the trophies brought in a lot of new people. I can't get into the rookie rooms, and most of them will quite before they ever get out of them.

I'm always surprised how often I meet the same people in random rooms. I'll see someone's name and think, "Hey, I know that guy!" Hehe.

I have a buddy who said he was playing a game, and some guy came up to him and said, "Do you know CYMBOL?" (He probably saw the "BLU" clan tag on his name.) He answered, "Yes". Then the guy got in a Warhawk and flew away.

I would like to think people know my name cause I've caused them a headache in the game (I know some people by name cause they are a thorn in my side in the game, and when I run into them again, I'm hoping they are on my team). . . . but more than likely, it's simply that I'm a Warhawk geek and play the game too much.

You know where to come if you have any questions or need any tips.

(The new "training modes", which were just incorporated into the game via an update are really great. Be sure and go through the training first - then come back here after a few games if you have any questions.)

And, the answer is "No" to your first future question; which will be - "Do you get extra health when you rank up, cause I shoot these guys a hundred times and they shoot me once and I die! WTF!!!" (Trust me, everybody says this when they first start.) Just give it a week of gameplay, I think you'll enjoy it.
