The first bit is true, the latter is something I'd like to know too.. without potentially wasting my downloads.

My *assumption* is it's all based around digitial certificates. They are generated based on a device (MAC ?) and then registerd back to the server.

I have a hunch that's also the way the PSP remote play works .. the PS3 only responds to matching digital certificates to keep you secure for remote play. In that case the PS3 is obviously the server and has no restriction on how PSP's you can register with it - unlike the downloads which have counts.

I wanted to check something before I posted... This is in reference to PS3andLovinIt's post. I'm going to guess that the download limit counts towards all "re-downloads."

My reasoning is that I purchased the R:FoM map pack on my PS3 account, and I just logged into my "guest" account, checked the Playstation Store and then R:FoM. The map pack has to be purchased for my guest account, if my friends come over and want to play them. The Warhawk download, I presume, is going to be the same. The purchase will be linked to the account it is bought for and non-transferrable. So, if you do purchase Warhawk, then log into a friend's PS3, log onto your account, then download the game to his/her HDD, it will likely only be accessible to him/her by logging onto your PS3 account.

Here's my question concerning Warhawk and also in a roundabout way SOCOM: Confrontation. If you purchase the BD version, can you download the disc information to the HDD so the games run "only" off the HDD?

That would make sense they need to have access to your account otherwise they are locked out - until they invited you back . To me that's the way it should be - as the owner of the game/account.

Default Warhawk

A quick question about warhawk:
When I first read about the game, it had both a single player and multiplayer in it and now I don't hear about a single player mode anymore. I believe that I read on here that the single player mode was removed? I have never heard of a game only having a multiplayer mode so will this game be like the matrix online where each player goes through the multiplayer mode doing certain things? I'm a little confused.

From what I know, this game will be available on the playstation network and on disc. This game will be like the matrix online where everyone follows their own path?

From the trailer I downloaded from the PS Store, you can play up multiplayer (up to 4) off-line as well.

I think you can download it, or buy it and get a blue tooth headset in the box too. I'll go for the disc version

Thanks guys; I had no idea it'd come with a blu-tooth headset. I just pre-ordered my copy from Amazon:

40 online - yes. 4 players can play co-op on one PS3 / TV in an online game.

This is actually correct unless there's been some recent news that they're NOT doing this anymore.
