Right. But I think he's just talking about the behavior of the new overlay. The Wrench is going to overlay in the Knife spot, so selection needs to work well.

Could be wrong, but that looks like what he means.

Well, I've got about 184 hours of playtime logged.

Only about 21.47%? Global Accuracy - not really sure what that means.

But hey, I have over 37,000 points and a Lt rank to show for it.

I have to say, I started out pretty horribly at this game. I started with death matches just to get a hang of the weapons.

Actually, I've never tried online gaming except 5 minutes of Resistance and didn't even know what a "Clan" was or did. Then, I grew up to be the most feared Clan Leader ever known! (At least, that's why I assume all my clanmates got a thrill out of team killing me. - the thrill of the hunt and all that. )

I do hope the tradition has carried on to Colorado since I've been gone.

My playtime is just about 1 hour hehe, I just picked up Warhawk this weekend. I did manage to earn a Rocket Launcher Bandit Badge in that first hour though

Have a question about the Jabra headset that comes with the game. I managed to get it working but just about everything I was able to hear over it was so garbled that I couldn't even make it out. Occasionally I would get a clear line or two on it though. Is there something else I need to do, or is the bundled headset a piece of crap? It was really frustrating as I was playing CTF.

I don't think it's the headset. Some games I hear some folks remarkably well, and it some games some folks are just really hard to understand. (garbled etc.) So I wonder if it has to do with the other person's connection.

Also, this "Voice changer" functionality is in my opinion the biggest piece of crap. It frustrates the hell out of me when other players talk with it engaged.

Thankfully, we have the mute function.

The other day I was on a game where two players were talking non-stop clear and loud in Spanish. It gave me a headache. After seeing who it was, I just muted them and the problem was solved.

It sucked, because a few others were trying to say stuff and they wouldn't shut up.

As a rule, I tend to mute non-English speaking players (since I can't understand them), people using voice changers and people who have nothing better to do than fill up the air with stupid chat (like the guy who likes to touch little boys kind).

I just turn the voices off completely. 9 times out of 10, the person talking has nothing useful to say anyways....

It doesn't really mean much of anything as I found out. Each weapon has an accuracy %. Global is a combination of all that.

So, if you go shooting your AA gun around or throw grenades for the hell of it, your accuracy is dropping.

Also, the more time you've played and the more weapons you've used, the lower your % will be.

I guess it all depends on how much you like to mess around. I'll shoot at friends and stuff for fun sometimes (now that TK is off pretty much).

In the end, fun is what matters. Although in CTF, having fun can quickly turn to frustration when all your hard work goes for not, because the rest of your team thinks its a DM game and not CTF. But, that's another story.

Is this happening to anyone else? Almost everytime my wife plays Warhawk, after a couple of games the PS3 completely freezes. The controller won't work and I have to power down with the rear switch. I played a few games last night and it happened twice. Everything is up to date including the latest firmware update. This has been happening for a long time, since sometime last year.

This is the only game this happens to. I can play COD4 for hours and never have it freeze. If I delete all Warhawk files and restart am I going to lose any rankings? Btw, I have the BD disc, not the download.

I have the freezing problems as well, but only at the end of a game when you are waiting for the next one to start. It does it about 1 in 4 games. I either take a chance or exit the server after the game ends and then go back in. I deleted all the data and reinstalled and that seemed to help, but didnt fix it totally. It would freeze at least half of the time before I did the reinstall..... maybe I need to do it a third time?

That's usually when it happens to me, at the end of the game. After deleting the data, you don't lose any stats or rankings, right? If I deleted my wife's ranking, she'd kill me. I'll try it tonight, thanks.

Nope, all data is stored online. Your ranking (or hers) won't go anywhere!

Edit: Custom settings are stored locally, like the plane logo or outfit type etc.
