Sorry buddy. I couldn't make it - would have loved to. We had a family night out and I couldn't cancel. For some reason - the wife thinks family is more important than Warhawk games!

The more advance notice we get on these things - the more time I have to ease the wife into it.

So, what happens when we don't have enough people show up on our team? We forfeit? I just got back and haven't really even had time to study up on how this whole tourney thing is working. I'll have to make that a priority.

I played this morning. I was the number one player 4 times in a row . . . . on the losing team. I think I'm getting better. Still learning the new map layouts/gadgets/vehicles, etc. Then I joined a room with just a few people, it ended up just me and one other person, so I played capture the flag with just him. He was a good flyer - but after two flag caps for me and none for him - he left. Oh well. It was all good practice. I still need it.

We ended up having 7 or 8, and it was an 8v8 match. I believe if you don't have enough, you either forfeit or you probably can just play it through.

The server last night was really laggy, so the game was hardly playable about 10 minutes in... and it eventually died. The other team was pretty good though, so no worries.

Ask Blue Skies what he thinks about your family night... he had a nice quote :-)

Also, we played BioHazard and if you guys play them, they love to fly. It seems they were playing more of a team deathmatch than zones..

Anyone want to comment on the clans you guys played??

when i first started the game and it was three on one, the people there didnt really seem to be all that good but once they started lagging the game it seemed like they became gods among men. I feel that that they did it on purpose to get a cheap win.

We were losing early on, but the lagging made it impossible to come back. Especially with the Danad guy in the air. Tow missiles , etc. The only thing I could manage in the air was to just get him to chase me around for a few seconds until he blew me up. Might be an option though if we don't have anyone else in the air. Basically just provide distraction so they don't have as much time to Tow missile you. Then the game started lagging. It would take me like a minute and a half to respawn and eventually I couldn't even grab a weapon, for like the last 10 minutes of the game. I noticed 3 of there players still had ping times under 100 and we had vector at 0 (he hosted). The rest of us and the other 5 on their team were in the 1700's

You aren't the only one to say that they lagged on purpose... I am going to setup something so that I can record our matches. I want to know how they did it though.

there needs to be some kind of rule made where if someone with really high ping shouldnt be allowed to play.

I may try to practice with you guys sometime. I just opened GTA4 last night and played online for a couple of hours. That was pretty fun---an hour in after my first kill finally.

Guess it's waiting time for Warhawk 2 now.
