What a bummer. We've had many early Blu-Clan games die from lagging/crashing when people joined with atrocious pings. They should be kicked/banned - simply because the game can't be played properly, not out of spite.

I am coming to really hate the tow missle. It's just to powerful and there is not chance to fight back. And you get those people who use it again and again. It's cheap. I think the tow missle needs to have a very long respawn time, so people don't use it repeatedly.

What does the ping do in this game again?

Ping is the time it takes to send a query to some system and get a reply back. It's measured in milliseconds. So someone with a ping of 1700 is taking 1.7 seconds to get a message from you and get one back.

So in a game, it means things aren't in sync. And it makes for wonky gameplay.

I don't know that those guys did it on purpose, but if they did it's pretty ingenious (and disingenuous).

My ping was around 140 when we started the game. It ended up being over 1700 by the end.

Just to let you know, you can only have 8 ppl on your competition roster. And its that 8 ppl that are going to be playing in the next match you have scheduled. You can switch out ppl as needed, but no longer to have more than 8 ppl. I believe if your match roster does not match your team competition roster, your game could be forfieted.

I agree with you about the TOW missile. I was playing a game early this morning where these guys were being wimps and using it constantly. I ended up doing a little tank sniping and took out half their team from long range. Personally, when I am in the air, I avoid the TOW missile, mainly because I think it is a cheap way to get lots of kills. Hopefully there will be an update soon that will make the respawn time longer. I hope to see you playing sometime. Peace

Friday night we had a problem with another clan about hosting a match. We were suppose to start the match at 10 and it did not get started until 1030 or so.

Since you guys are suppose to host, any way he can open the server up around 9:15 pm CDT? So we can test the connection and make sure everyone is able to join. Also, make sure he sets the Start match limit to 16.

Let me know if this a problem.


Also, there are problems arising on ggl because it tells you that you are suppose to name it a certain way. Well, if there are 2 or 3 matches going on that night, how the hell can you name them all the same. IF you wouldn't mind, could he name it !GGL_BLUvsFBG?

Hmmmm, with the new baby - these things are hard for me to plan. My wife's a manager and works some weekends, which means I have baby duty. If the baby is asleep, I'm good - if the baby is awake - you have a player who is pre-occupied. I'm hesitant to schedule myself for the match.

I played 5 games this morning. #1 player all five matches (for my team - sometimes the game) - but always on the losing team, guess that makes me the number one loser.

Sounds enticing; however, I'm content to get blown up in one game at a time.

I'm am simply too busy to play GTA4. I actually have a few games I would love to get into (yes, besides Warhawk ), there just isn't enough time in the day. . . . at least, while remaining married that is. . . .

Sometimes, I think, "You know, Warhawk is getting kind of old" - but then I log on, and have a hard time turning it off. In the end, I still have fun - and that's all you can ask for in a game.

Yes we play them in 45 mins or so... hope we get enough people to play. If not this will be the second game in a row. We also have a match later tonight (8PM EST) versus the red dragon team that beat us before. We have a match tomorrow at 10:45PM EST against derek19's team... plus the saturday match.
