Ok guys, I'll be on one last time Friday night probably around 5 pm Central Time- then, I'm going to spend the weekend with the family - no games for me after Friday.

Don't worry about me - I'm going to a much better place this time (not that there are many good places in the Middle East), but someone won't be trying to kill me every freakin' day at this place. For the most part, it shouldn't be too bad.

Thanks to everyone here, it's been great playing with you all.

6pm est eh? hopefully youll be on for a while because I hafta run over to EB to pre-order GT5, Turok and BP. I wont be around til maybe like 8pm est thou. ill try to be on just to TK ya a few times before you head out. If i dont make it, hopefully Copy will to take you down a few times for me.

im glad im not the only one lookig forward to turok, that game looks awesome. ill be home at 6ish central, ill hop on and try to get a game in with ya.

OK who is going to play tonight @ 5 CST? If we get enough people to have a ranked player match that would be fun. I can do a 6 v 6 but we need at least 8 people for the game to start. Also does everybody playing have the Omega Dawn pack?

Remember this is CYMBOL's last official game with all of us till May sometime...

Hi Lads, Im new to this site and warhawk. I need help with the game ,its so hard to fly without getting killed within 2mins of taking off.
Any Tips on gameplay?
Which way is best setup for controller? ....arcade or motion control 100%

Arcade... motion control is more for advanced players.

And play in games that are closer to your ranking like recruit or sergeant.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Thank you for the sentiment.

Thanks to everyone who took some time to play tonight. (I can't believe my son messed with my voice modifier - I had no idea I was talking like a chipmunk that whole time. )

It's always a great time when I get to play with you guys.

LOL - it was more like, CYMBOL and Jafo's Last Stand . . . . with a Vengeance!

That was a great game with Colorado. I could not stop laughing when I saw that you had taken every single jeep and plane and piled them up on our flag. That was freakin' classic.

We managed to pull it out 7 -6. Good game.


@ Vektar - too bad you didn't get to play with us longer, but thanks for showing up. I appreciate it. (Not your best game, but hey, next time you need to be on the team that has more "Blu" members. - either that, or you've been smoking those movies instead of watching them. ) Seriously, thanks for showing up and going a few round with us.

And I appreciate that Borrik fit us into his workout schedule.

Hope you all are still playing the game once in a while when I get back.

I could not master motion contol. That's totally up to you.

I would suggest setting up your own room offline and getting in a plane and practice flying around. (Better if you have a buddy that will play one on one with you. - that will also give you practice trying out the different weapons.)

Really, like anything, it's just time and practice. Many, many people come on this thread saying, "Why is it when I shoot a plane, it takes 50 hits to kill them, and when they shoot me, it takes 1?!

Trust me, the more you play, the more likely it will be that you are "that guy" that people keep saying, "D@mn it! That guy won't die!"

Just ask if you have a question about the different weapons.

Or, join a clan and get someone to go online with you. We have a LOT of skilled players with some great tips.

Man! I leave for 2 days and the Warhawk thread all but disappears.

Hey guys, I'm waiting for my last plane (halfway there now) - and then I don't know if I'll be able to post after that.

Obviously, you've all quit playing Warhawk now that I'm gone. I figure it's kind of like you all went on strike and are protesting my absence by not playing or posting anymore. I appreciate the sentiment; however, there is no need for such extreme measures.

Just be aware - that when I get back, you all are going to have to put down those shiny, new PS3 games, and load up the ol' Warhawk game, and go a couple of rounds.

And the "I haven't played in a long time" won't be a valid excuse (Vektar, yeah, I'm lookin' at you) - for not playing, cause I won't have played ANY games in months.

See you when I see you everybody.

I love warhawk, but it seems as of late it has jumped the shark with the recent omega dawn upgrade. I used to think it was killer, but omega dawn has actually taken away from gameplay.

1. The omega dawn map is TOO big, needs 64 players
2. The dropship is over-rated. It can make CTF too easy

Obviously you have not played in games that i have... Dropship = Big red target on it that has a little sign next to it saying "Please shoot me!"

In games i have been in it stays up for all of a min or two unless they have air support by other airplanes.

Omega Dawn maps are awsome! Specially because of the amout of space you have to manuver. I personally dont think you should be in there unless you have a 32 man game going. Anything less you get a peice of the pie and go to town.

@ Cymbol: Arn't you gone yet? Creeper...

@ Blu-Clan: Guess we are on strike due to Cymbol not being on... where is everybody?!

I am unable to play right now... bulb in my Mitsubishi went out
It will be fixed one way or the other by Friday. Don't worry I'll still be playing WH.
