do i have to shoot 4 ppl with the gun on the back, or drive over 4 ppl, or a mix of the 2?

In games i have been in it stays up for all of a min or two unless they have air support by other airplanes.

Omega Dawn maps are awsome! Specially because of the amout of space you have to manuver. I personally dont think you should be in there unless you have a 32 man game going. Anything less you get a peice of the pie and go to town.

Yeah, but I've played with the dropship, and if you have someone good flying it, they can really make CTF almost too easy. I don't think the dropship should be able to pick up someone with the flag.

I like the Omega Map - but it is a tad big.

Yeah, I'm creeping. But, I'm logging off this second. Got a long second half of a flight ahead of me - (the first half was total nightmare, ended up getting to my hotel at 1 am - was supposed to be here at 7pm.) Now, I've got a long flight over the ocean.

i think i agree with cymbol about the dropship making ctf too easy. but i have more captures just getting in the jeep and driving back then getting flown back to base.

I played a bit over the weekend but got so frigging frustrated. On a couple occassions, someone on my team started detonating the mines I had planted just so that he could get some mines himself. He kept doing this over and over. I am starting to see this type of crap more and more in the online games and it is pissing me off. In an other game, some jerk (same team) kept trying to push me off the cliffs and/or flip over my jeep/car with his warhawk.

And what's with these idiots on the same team that try to keep killing you?

ARGHH!

I hope an upcoming patch will address this issue. i.e. give people negative points for blowing up their own team's mines.

Why would people blow up your mines? All they have to do is wait and the mines will "respawn". Then, they can place MORE mines down.

As for team kills - you already get negative points when you team kill and or have a suicide. (I often blow myself up with a grenade, but not on purpose).

Just switch rooms when things like this happen - it's not very prevelant. OR, you could play with clan members and your chances of such tomfoolery will go down quite a bit.

I have noticed that on many ranked servers that they have "turned on" the team kill. In other words, you can't just sit there and machine gun your buddy.

Well, I left the hotel and wouldn't you know - I found another signal.

that does suck and its stoopid, the mine pickup will respawn and he can drop his own mines. theres nothing easy to fix someone pushing you off a cliff, maybe unless they turned off clipping for vehicles on the same team. and ppl do get negative points for suicde and team kills.

That is exactly right. The mines won't keep respawning endlessly. I think you can only have XX amount active in any given game. So by him blowing up my mines, he is essentialy forcing a respawn of the mine pickup

I love Warhawk as well i think is the best online game i have ever played.This new update is good i have enjoyded so far and yea the dropship can make easy ctf's.It would depend if your team is ruling the skies and then attack the dropship that's why the dropship makes you and your team create diferent tactics or strategys to defeat the dropship.

AHHHHHHH, I hate this new tactic,

when i get the flag and drive away, douchebags will run me over with their warhawk or just land in front of me not move. its bs. totally takes the fun out of the game. guess ill just sit back and play d.

That's why you need air support when driving with the flag... if you run with the flag you are invisible on radar until it goes to CTF Sudden Death mode.

i lost my job this past friday so ive been busy looking for a new one. i basically spend all day applying online, and calling up places when there are numbers listed, fax resumes and samples (im a graphic designer) when i can, search the newspaper, etc. im sure ill find something soon thou, so no worries. ill be back at it eventually.

I know how it goes... I am an Urban Planner (I play Sim-City for a living ) And the market is very selective (Public) and Competitive (Private). Keep on Truck'in. It took me 6 months hard searching to snag a job. Just keep your chin up and don't get discouraged.

I played for about 1 hour last night. I haven't played in weeks. Talk about feeling out of place. Geez.

However, I still got some kills and stopped the flag carrier solo many times. Not sure what my team was doing.

I actually got a decent number of kills with my rifle. LOL I used to never use it.

Then I went in the air and I was scared, because I forgot how to fly well. But, I got about 9 kills on one map with well-placed mines.

Wish I had more time. I haven't even watched any BLUs really. They are piling up.

Warhawk how i miss you so
