Yeah, I never warmed up to the dropship. A good dropship operator made CTF too unbalanced for my tastes. I actually stopped playing boards with dropships.

I'll keep taking the improvements/tweaks. I have said Motorcycles would be great before - and I LOVE the idea of being able to parachute out of a Warhawk. Even if it was just the passenger. (I hate being stuck in a plane with someone who just flies around and doesn't do anything and I just want to get out.)

That would be great if all the Warhawks could fly over and have troops parachuting down behind enemy lines.

I agree, I never see people playing the Omega Dawn map and I never seen drop ships.

BTW, we got pounded in that zones game last night... how ridiculous was that!

Believe me, you didn't want in that game unless you were on the RED team.

It was the destroyed capital with 3 bases (middle base and 2 closest) and they had us cornered down there. There was a bank on every hilltop and some jabroney with tow missiles every 5 seconds. We could get out of the base!

It didn't help that it was the first time I had played in about a month.

Yeah, a couple maps, one in particular, lends itself to domination of one team.

I'd like to see them add a garage (locked) that has vehicles in it. Then you can just sit there blowing up vehicles as they spawn, which forces the other team to just sit there.

Although, I do make it a point to do that myself.

I have hundreds of hours played (side note, I think I'm at 63,000 points, so Commander is coming soon!). I love this game and I want to see it get better. If people leave, the game dies a slow death. Since Warhawk is the game I've played the most by far, I'd hate to see it go downhill.

Omega Dawn came out and I'm sorry, but how many people here play that map often? I sure don't. It's not on the map list for the CTF games I play (under 32 players). Also, when I join big games, I don't see Dropships used.

My point is that team play is laughable in 90% of all games. The dropship was a team item and it's wasted. So, rather than focusing on other "team" items, do some individual stuff.

I'm all for APCs and Dropships as I'm a team player, and a good one. But, when it's you and 1-2 other guys at most working together, this doesn't matter.

But, I'm not hating the APC. I hope it works out well. And I'm all for updates. They just need to happen a little more frequently. I'm thinking that this update sets some new ground (weapon overlays) for some future items to expand gameplay.

And I agree with team play being laughable. I'm part of the problem.. I don't use the headset and just kind of stay aware of what the rest of my team is up to.

Focusing on individual updates would be best. And damn dude.... 63,000 points?!!? That's insane... I'm sure you own.

Warhawk launches TOW into the open base and kills 11. That guy launched about 9 TOWs for the map and got 61 kills.

I play defense too. In 8-24 player games, I'm able to hold it down on my own usually unless there's 4+ enemies at the same time. 1-3 is usually no problem.

Defense can be fun too.

I know what you mean about no help. This happens a lot. Lots of CTF players evidently don't understand the concept of CTF play. They're too busy trying to get a kill. Meanwhile, the flag is grabbed and strolls right by them.

Frustrating.

I hated that game.... It was like three of us against an entire team!!!

Good play though mates! Made the best out of a bad situation. However when you got bumped to the other team it wasnt as fun... Damn you and your Warhawk 7334 skillz!

Hope to see more of the Blu-Clan on! So when we get into a game we become the Nation of DOM! THE DOM-MEN-NATION!!!

I second Copy/Cymbol in the:
-Motorcycles (possibly with a side-car for team sake?)
-Parachutes (who hasn't been "that guy" stuck with Bozo the Clown piloting)
-Paratroopers (now wouldnt that be something?!)

Other possibles:
-Water battles (no more dieing, only swimming for your life!)
-Submersables (oh you know it would be cool, launching a SAM at a warhawk)
-Boats/Carriers (Call in an airstrike?! )

I was wondering how large this online community is. This game really interests me, I just can't buy another PS3 game for awhile (bought 3 in the last month) for financial and time reasons. I'm thinking of picking this game up around late spring time, and wondering if I get it then will a lot of people still be playing online for quite some time after spring?

The inconsistent jagged edge on the left of it makes it look like it could have been placed in the scene but it's hard to imagine anyone faking the whole APC design.

Yeah, having 3 of us doing something is about 1 or 2 more than usual.

It sucked when I got pushed off the team. I hate that crap.

But, I had to protect this house.

I actually got to play with a couple of BLU clan members yesterday. It must have been Christmas.
