I am pretty sure that unranked games don't dish out ribbons (as in you won't see any at the end of the game)... however a player ranked server that ends in pre-game will have ribbons but they will not be awarded to your profile. Other than that you may just have to wait a little while for them to show up...

I picked GT5P up on release and love it. Especially with my driving force pro wheel. My only complaint about it is the online racing. I think I left a post somewhere around here on that one. Soooo, for online fun I have started going back to Warhawk. BTW good games last night in Warhawk Copy. Unfortunately I think I was on the team that got waxed every time. I didn't think I was that bad! Oh well maybe next time.

Yeah, good games.

I got on the bad side a few times. One game I had like 8 kills and 35 deaths because I kept trying to break the line to push forward. Unfortunately, only about 3-4 people on the team were doing anything.

I spent the last 2 minutes at the spawn screen. No point in spawning in at that juncture.

I'm getting tired of people who talk crap when it's 5 on 1 in the air. Gee, I hope I die. If not, everyone on the other is beyond suckage.

Yesterday, there was about 2 games that were even. All the others were extremely unfair games and I was on both sides. I hate it.

I finally got around to Warhawk again last night, I hadn't played since I downloaded the new map on the 17th. When I downloaded the new map, I only got to play it once so I wasn't sure how I liked it. But after 3 or 4 games last night, I have to say that I like it. I like how you can spawn in an APC too.

My only complaint is that the game is so fragmented now, you have people who have one expansion or the other, some both, some none..... They should make Omega Dawn free since its not that great and nobody plays it that much anyways.

I think they should add some maps that use both expansion packs together.

Imagine a fully filled dropship and a fully filled apc, drop ship picks up fully filled apc.

It would be really cool to see that, drop the apc in the center of the enemy base.

What would be awesome is towing the dropship while carrying an APC full of ppl. Now that would be awesome.

I am. Played about 40-50 hours in the past couple of weeks.

However, I'm playing less this week. Perhaps I'll play a little this weekend.

It's losing ground with me. The player pop is segmented even more now and I don't care for the new changes. Gone are the small games. It's now 16 or 32 and some of the 32-player maps are too small.

I've got about 400 hours in and 100 hours on a 2nd account I created for fun.

The creators have said that none of this crap will ever merge. So do I play with the APC or dropship? OD or BM or none?

I'm trying to get Warhark Recruiting and it says 4 min in Warhawk; is that consecutive minutes?

This game is really starting to go down hill now, they just ruined it with the limited server selection and theres still a lot of glitches that are just ruining the game even more. Im not happy with warhawk at the moment.

I was a bit miffed as well to find out about the segmentation... I didn't catch the creators saying none of the expansions would merge, but I've found that the drop ship and APC will never be in the same map which is annoying to me. Like you said Copy, now I have to pick what type of game I want to play rather than just going to the one for "People who have everything" and enjoying the "expansions" mushed together with the original game content.


That and the new balancing they put in sucks completely. I was on a server with 5 on my team and 15 on the other... How in the hell is that balanced? Needless to say it was impossible to change that battle, and even when the next game spawned it did the SAME THING. Suck.

Call me crazy, but it feels like the "expansions" are just us paying to be in the beta for Warhawk II.

I don't know if there will be more expansions, but count me out. I won't spend another dime.

And I've seen numerous games where the "balancing" makes 12 on 4, 9 on 5, etc games. I don't care how good you are, you're not going to win many/any 12 on 4 games.

As to the Warhawk, just join a low pop server, hop in a Warhawk and hover over the ground for a few minutes. Done.

That would give some nice points I always go after the APC's. It's just fun hitting 5 people at the same time.

I actually feel myself wanting to play more since they released BM. I really like the functionality of the APC and the BM maps.

Theres no way they can combine OD and BM. It would cause Warhawk to become even more segmented. You would have the non-expansion servers, OD servers, BM severs and then OD/BM servers. If Sony forced everyone to buy both expansion packs, then they could elminate the individual expansion servers. No way they do that though.

I like the new room format. With 16 players, you can play the medium maps as well as the small maps. With 32 players, you can play the medium and the large maps. Best of both worlds if you ask me. By only offering two max player rooms, they elminated some of the segmenation that would have occured if they didn't. Imagine what it would have been like if they didn't change to the new format.
