I'm good for tomorrow at 9EST. How do you guys wanna do it? Have somebody host a match or hop on an empty sony server? I never tried hosting a match before so IDK what my ping is or anything. I have cable internet.

And for the UK guy weekends would be a lot more flexible. Idk the time zone difference but for 7EST being 12am your time 2 EST would be 9pm your time right? I think most people can make those times if they're not busy on the weekend.

It's 5 hours between the east coast and England. 2PM here would be 7 PM there

You should be fine to host a game of 16 to 20 players, but taking over an unofficial sony server might be a good way to go.

As far as the UK guy goes, he is 5 hours ahead of the east coast time so if it is 2pm EST it would be 7pm UTC/GMT, and 8 hours ahead of the west coast.

Since we seem to have trouble staying connected perhaps we should try and nail a empty sony server and if that can't be done we'll just start our own...

I've had relatively good success at hosting a game but I can only host up to 24 people - so capping out at 12 people should be easily manageable

Alright,

Sounds like were on. 9pm EST tomorrow - let's take over a ranked server and get some points while we're playing. . . unless Colorado wants to host a ranked server. . . . or if someone can host ranked, that would be cool.

I thought I was good with ranked a 2 Lt, but I've decided I need to get to Captain so I can outrank Copywriter. Now, all I have to do is become half as good as Copywriter in an aircraft. Turning on the pro-flight I think has been helpful. Sure, I'm more likely to crash into a mountian or the ground, but I'm also more likely to be able to evade missles.

So, if you see the words "CYMBOL suicide" it's a good bet I was in a plane.

Yeah, I'm all about getting some points too. I can only host 12v12 max and I can't do ranked. Sony server sounds good, everyone have broken mirror?

LOL Yeah, im not that good on pro mode either. I did a lot of suicide's into the mountain too. What type of mode is does everyone want to play? CTF, TDM, DM?

I'm a CTF and zones kinda guy myself but it doesn't matter too much to me. I do like the broken mirror maps though, I think the APC's were a good addition.

I really liked the variable servers or "VAR" servers.. but I don't think they have them up anymore.

I guess if I had to order preference it'd look like this:

1 Zones
2 TDM
3 CTF
4 DM

I'm a CTF/Zones guy.

Team Death Match gets boring to me since you have to go find the action. In CTF and Zones, everyone is battling to keep certain areas.

I would like to do a 10 minute death match one day with just Blu-Clan members.

I have the Broken Mirror update. The APCs are cool, but can give a little too much advantage to a team that uses it to capture the flag. The vehicle is fast, almost indestructable and can defend against planes.

3 things in the game that I feel are too powerful:
TOW Missles
Dropship (When used to capture the flag)
APC (When used to capture the flag)

They take away the balance of the game.

Anyway, I vote CTF or Zones - but I will play whatever.

I just hated when the Variable servers went to "Dogfight" and the clock started counting down from 30 minutes - that's usually when I went to find a different server.

Dogfight or DM for more than 10 minutes at a time get boring very quick to me.

I'll be on around 8 EST tomorrow. Usually I find a good amount of empty sony servers so I'll hop on one of those and everybody else could join later. I'll look for a var, if not it'll be zones or ctf.

Agree 100% - those particular matches were a bear

I'd play for about half the time, then take a moment to get a sandwich or goto the restroom

Go for it. I need 7,000 points for Captain, but since I don't play, I won't be getting it I bet.

Getting to be half as good as me isn't that tough. Just keep practicing.

As to games, I play CTF always. Everything else bores me.

I'll try to show up for a game. I've been playing GTA4 (70% done now). I've got GRID here now too (still wrapped). Geez, and MGS4 comes out in a couple days. It's rough.

I HATE TOW MISSILES!!!

Probably won't be able to make it tomorrow (class and finals next week) but I'll try... I could make a server tonight... cause I am ditching class due to a headache from the freaking heat. It will probably be later though (gonna sneak in a 30 min dogfight dm into the rotation for my good buddy CYMBOL

Perhaps. I don't even play anymore. I've pretty much moved on.

I figure if I play 3-4 maps a week and get 200 points for the session, it will take me 7-9 months. LOL
