If you want to play but do not want to join or are already a member of another Clan - you can either add me to your friend's list to make joining the room a little bit less of a hassle - or simply find the room once we provide the room name.

Woot everytime i joined a game with cymbol he would leave the next game, i thinks its because im just that good.

And i like the 50pts thing if it wasnt like tat it would take years to get ranked up.

Yeah, it's uh, it's cause your that, *cough* good. . .

Seriously, though, I was about to get off - or had to get off everytime you joined - most times I'd finish that game. It's a bummer leaving just when a friend joins.

I agree - 20,000 freakin' points is bit much to get - I'll take the 50 points (although it seems hit or miss as to whether I get it).

Ok - here is the prelimenary break down for games:

CTF - Island Outpost - Full map. We'll give people something familiar to start with as they join the game. 20 minutes.
Collection Mode - Archipeligio (however you spell it) Acropolis Assault. 20 Minutes
Hero Mode - A very small map on Badlands so we don't have to find spend time finding each other. 20 Minutes.
Collection Mode - Destroyed Capital (the map that uses the full Middle Strip). 20 Minutes
Hero Mode - A very small map on Eucadia so we don't have to find each other. 20 Minutes.

Not everyone has the booster packs so we can't use the the Omega Factory or Glacier Map.

The room will be called - BluRoom - and the password will be- hero (all lowercase so no one gets confused.

) We'll set the maps for "ALL TALK".

If anyone has any further suggestions about the maps they'de like to bring up - now is the time. Green Motion is going to get the rotation set up - we don't want to be tweaking this at the last minute.

Everyone remember to charge your mics.

This thread is a bit long to flip through, so I couldn't check, but have there been any recent updates about when 1.5 will be coming out? Last I heard, Jobe said something like "very soon".

I never hosted a game before, so I am setting up a test room right now. Just so i'll be prepared on saturday.

Questions.

1) Do we want this to be a ranked or unranked game?
2) Do we allow Team Switching?
3) Tak is enabled; but "All Talk" is grayed out. ?

Also, on the rotation, is an option called "Match Rounds" with a description labeled "number of times this game may be played". Do they mean total, or per rotation? In other words, does it need to be set to 1, or to the highest, "10".

As far as the "all talk" option it should be grayed out in a ranked game.

Also the number of match rounds should be 1 unless you want to play the same map several times before moving on to the next map in the rotation. When the last map in the rotation is reached it goes back to the first map.

Looks like it will be a lot of fun. I only wish I would be able to play, but these past few months have been crazy and there is not much sign of it slowing down until late summer/early fall.

Good games earlier tonight. We had like 4 or 5 Blu clan members playing Hero mode. Unfortunately later on I got the server disconnected message again. That's like 2 days in a row I've been booted from a Sony Server. Anyone else having this problem?

Am I imagining things, or when the game first came out, were rounds only 15 minutes?

I vaguely remember them bumping it up to 20, and then later on to 30.

Sometimes I feel a little sad inside when a CTF ends 0-0, and I realize 30 minutes just went by.

Hey everyone; my apologies for the abrupt end to the game. My intention was to leave the game but leave the PS3 running so you guys could continue to play. At the very least I was expecting some sort of message when "leaving game" to ask me whether or not I wanted to keep hosting the game.

But alas; it didn't work that way. And if I would have stayed idle in the game, it would have probably kicked me out as well. So my apologies

Overall; some of you had a chance to test drive the maps as proposed by CYMBOL. What did ya'll think?

That very small game was brutal. Utter and total chaos .. hehe.

Figured instead of driving half an hour away and paying double to see the movie in imax saturday morning, I said "How about we go to the theatres here and we'll go out to olive garden before hand?" I liked the maps - the only thing that I would suggest is to take off the score limits. Make them unlimited - just when things were heating up, someone would get the score limit and the game would end.

I would also suggest unranked so we can enable "All Talk". Trash talking is the fun part of playing with Blu-Clan members. Everyone here is cool and knows it's just a game and no one takes it too seriously.

Ranked would be nice for some extra points, but I'd rather be able to talk to everyone.

So - my votes:

Unranked w/ All Talk
Unlimited scoring
I like the maps - but feel free to change them if you like any other suggestions made.

Cymbol, I like your suggestions, I will make sure to incorporate them in the game this saturday.

I myself will not play this saturday (will be busy with yard work all day), so I will set it up as a dedicated server.
