That helped a lot. Turns out I wasn't toggling from flight to hover mode...

One question I do have that wasn't covered in the manual. In Resistance you can set up your mic to be on all the time by selecting one of the dedicated channels in the in-game options menu. That helps a lot in team gameplay not having to hit L3 all the time. Does Warhawk have the same option?

My PSN is LS1 and I'm playing warhawk a lot. Currently a Wingman so you'll only see me on the higher limit servers.

Something the manual doesn't cover:

On the SCEE servers, what is all this Lvl2, etc? I find I cannot join some servers even if there are spaces? If the only way to increase your rank is to play a Sony server, then surely everyone should have the chance to join any of these games? So why can't I? How do I gain more points if I can't get onto to an official ranked game? GRRRRR

For the "Lvl2" etc, I always assumed it was referring to the size of the map. I could be wrong though.

The servers arent always full, spots just go quick. You have to keep trying.

The past couple times I've played, i've gone looking for "27 of 32, or 28 of 32, and never get in. I think a lot of people are seeing those, so those spots go quicker. The last two times, I went for a room that read 31 of 32 or even 32 of 32 and I ended up getting it.

Just have to hit a room at the right time, so keep trying.

Also, I think the 'refresh room' button either doesnt work or all or just plain sucks. So dont rely on that either.

Just an FYI, if you host a ranked server, then that person can't play.

Anyone else have their ranking disappear? I just finished playing and when I went to see my ranking, it wouldn't retrieve anything. I've only been playing on ranked servers and had a lot of medals/ribbons, etc. from the previous days. Now it says that I don't have anything. Anyone else run into a similar problem?

I bought it yesterday at Best Buy in Canada. They had it on sale for $39.99 CDN with a bluetooth headset included. It's like one of these bluetooth earpieces you see for cell phone users. It's cheaper to buy it in store at Best Buy than to buy it online. It's $42.99 CDN plus taxes on the PSN store.

I think the sale is only for this week though.

Hey, so i've been playing warkawk for a few days now and when i go to view my profile it says there are no stats available and that i must play on a ranked server. I've been playing on the blue official scea servers all the time and have not had my stats/points saved once!! what gives? am i just missing something here or is anyone else having this problem? after the game ends i looked for a save option but there isn't one, so i just select quit then go view my profile and nothing!!! says i've never played a single game!!! any help would be great guys thanks!

Best Buy also had coupons at the cashier for $5 off any PS3 game..so it was $34.99..what a deal. Although the coupons may have expired end of August.

Other people have been experiencing this as well. My stats haven't updated in a while either.

My stats have NEVER updated though!!! I could understand it lagging a little, but not one game that i've played has counted towards advancing my rank and stats.

I've been playing often and sometimes you'll see a second CYMBOL running around. That's my kid. He can usually be seen running around with a knife.

Love this game.

Feel free to invite me, and someone please post if a bluray room is set up. (I don't really do the dog fights since I still have not got those plane skills down, but I love all other boards. Capture the Flag and Zones are great. Just a lot of fun to be had here.

I just logged in and everything was gone. I was reading on the Warhawk forum that it is most likely a temporary glitch and it should return to normal.

EDIT: I just logged back on and everything was restored. I am sure it will happen for you too. However, make sure when you play a ranked game it shows you as the correct rank, otherwise any results from that game may not be saved. (This last bit is a rumor that has been going around, not sure if it is true, but just leave the server and log back on and it usually corrects it, at least it has for me. Better safe then sorry)
