I said that I don't have a credit card. I also couldn't be bothered getting one. I wonder if I can use the gift cards though?

I wished I could have joined the game; but I had too much yard work too do :-( I just now finished.

How was the performance; anyone experience any lag? I checked the status screen a couple of times and noticed the turn out was a bit low. I think you guys peaked at around 13 players, is that right?

I'm ready for some news maps; hopefully we'll get something new soon.

Sounds about right, we had people coming and going - but I'd say we had 12-14 people at any given time.

There was a bit of lag on my end every once in a while. I'd suddenly die and it wouldn't say how or by who. In general though, it was perfectly fine.

Thanks for setting it up.

I like Hero and Collection about the same, although "Hero Mode" is just kind of "Cool".

I'm still a CTF person though. If only they could mix CTF with Hero Mode!

If you end up getting a card and can only get one - I suggest the Broken Mirror expansion over the Omega expansion. No contest which is the better addition.

I think we might need to remove team kills in hero mode though. I bet we had 20 team kills that one game.

I think that would be wise. It just gets too hectic - but d@mn it's fun!

I love those games when it's total chaos and both teams are just throwing everything at each other. I don't remember who won that round, but I remember it was pretty close.

Good times.

What rank are you going for - I'm going from 1st Lt to Commander (I think) - I need 20,000 points!

I even decided last night to check out what these 50 point rooms were up to. So, I went in one. The room name was "50 pts a minute". I was wondering how people were cheating with the new update. Basically, people (this was a Clan - won't bother ratting them out here) was on a very small CTF map in Badlands - everyone would be on one team with the score limit set to 1. They would run over, grab the flag and bring it back. Game ends, everyone gets 50 points. I stayed for about a minute and a half and left. (Hey, got 150 free points while I was seeing what they were doing.)

In the end though, I have never earned any of my badges and/or ranks by cheating, and I wouldn't bother to start now. These 50 point rooms are ALL over the place. Amazing.

I will say - by making the points needed for rank up so incredibly high - it was only a matter of time till people began finding ways to cheat. Now, they've perfected it with this new point system. 50 points about every 30 seconds.

So much for leader boards and rankings.

@ Vektar - I must be bad luck. Everytime I join a room I seem to spawn in on the losing team - they aren't just losing by 1 - but usually by 4 flag caps, etc. It's getting depressing. I was getting a lot of Warhawk Team and top player scores yesterday - but d@mn I'm getting tired of being the number 1 loser.

Btw, in our last game, I set the controller down real quick to do something, came back and had gotten kicked for being idle. I wasn't gone that long. Probably a minute. I guess the game let's you sit for 60 seconds? Not much time if you want to get a drink, take a leak ,etc.

I was logging back on to get back in the game with you. . . .
but then the wife said she was ready for bed.
I didn't make it back to the game.

That is a good reason not to play Warhawk. One of the few in fact.

The 1.4 update also sparked my interest in the game (plus the upcoming trophies... v1.5 is supposedly being released by the end of the month, and last I checked, the month is nearing an end ).

Anyhow, I wouldn't say I suck at the game, but I never paid much attention to the requirements to move up in the ranks. I was missing the air-to-air badge (4 air-to-air kills IAR), and that alone was holding me back from moving up 3 ranks. I'm really bad flying the Warhawks, but managed to pull out 5 a-t-a kills in a round, before my team lost due to the limit (our flag got captured 10 times in under 10 minutes....ridiculous).

getting the 4x4 badge is holding me back as wingman... I'm notoriously terrible at running people over in a jeep, let alone 4-5 IAR
