My and my clan (NUTZ) are playing this now heavily.. we have 10 active members of our clan.... get me on your friends list if you would like to join us for some fun.. my PS3 username is "DezNutz"

I just started last night, and I am hooked.. if it starts keeping stats I will be even more hooked.. I got 6 ribbons in my first night, and couple first places in ranked rooms... and I have no stats.. sucks.. but maybe like Resistance they are actually keeping stats and will update when they fix problem..

Once you hold down L1 to lock on, is there a way to cancel? I've had a couple of times where I was locked on, about to shoot someone down, when someone else beat me to it. Letting go of L1 than just wastes a rocket.

I haven't noticed any blurring on my Sony LCD HDTV, but then again I'm usually looking at the target. I will have to look tonight.

I've heard that some gamers have got their money back because of the problems, but it doesn't help when there is no official update on what the problems are! We're just left to work it out ourselves and put up with a game that simply does not work properly

It takes a full day for your days stats to show in your profile, they probably reset the servers everyday in the morning and that's when the stats are transferred on to your profile as long as you are playing on a ranked server.

Loving the game so far, i would say the main problem i encountered have been morons who are probably 12 years old up in missile turrets shooting at their own team members, but i was expecting this when i bought a console system.

Switch weapons to abort firing. Use the directional pad.

I had all my stats zeroed on 9/2/07 for a full day and I was back as a recruit. But when I logged back on last night, 9/3/07, I was back to Chief Sergeant. At first I thought I gained it all back by playing from scratch but it said I got my Chief Sergeant rank on 9/1. So I guess it was just a temporary thing. Hopefully it doesn't happen again.

I'd like to make ranked rooms for us blu-ray.com members everytime I log on to Warhawk but I hear from the threads that I won't be able to play? Is that true???

We would just have to play for fun or meet at a ranked room.

PS, How are all of you organizing to meet up?

Yeah, I look for a room with 'bluray.com' somewhere in the name allt he time but never see any. maybe im just missing you guys.

the easiest way to "hook up" is to add members to friends list.. I love the friend list integration in this thing.. than just join room from there..

we organize play nights on our forums.. www.socomnutzclan.com and yeah if you host your own ranked room, your PS3 will be dedicated to hosting and you cannot play.. although I know we have members who are going out for night or what not, and do not mind leaving there PS3 on so we can play private ranked rooms... nice when you have a group of known clanmates like we do..

Practice. Best thing to do is make a private LAN room with maps you need work on and run through the weapons and tactics. I spent 20 minutes entering and exiting warhawks yesterday to try and do quick landings and evacs.

I constantly get "network timeout" when trying to log in to the game for hours straight sometimes. So annoying to pay for a game you can't play. It does not offer any reason or solution. So lame..

Exit warhawk and try again. It did that to me a few times. I think it has to do with the network verification to ensure the purchaser is the account logged in.

Could someone tell me how much diskspace you need for the Downloadable version of Warhawk, since i live in switzerland the blu ray version isn't coming out until the end of September...
Is it worth waiting for the Blu ray version?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think it's 850 MB or so. I bought the BD version and it took up 810 MB if i remember correctly. Hope someone confirms this for you.

my download was reported to be 798 MB

Not sure how much after it was installed.

Supposedly whether you get the blu-ray or the download it still packs almost the same amount of info on the HD. It is just a little less for the blu-ray because some key boot and verification files are kept on the disc to prevent you from playing it without the disc.

damnit, I am really getting into this game now, and it sucks my stats are not being saved.

I played for about 3 hours last night, got at least 25 ribbons, and 8 badges, even went up in rank at least in game. When I leave game, I got nothing, absolutley ZERO stats...

I earned MVP honors 4 times as well.. played really well.. earned some hard to get ribbons like the 6 different ribbons in one game with 3 badges... including the 25 shot percentage.. damnit..

I hope like Resistance these stats are not lost, but being saved on their server, just not accessible in game for some stupid reason.. If I am losing all these permantley I will be very upset.. hell I quit playing Resistance after they took my skeleton away... I may quit warhawk just for not being able to keep stats.. should not be that hard..
