Is there a way to have someone create a room and the stats still count towards your rankings and stuff? Every time Ive gone into a non blue server my stats didnt count and i could get badges or anything.

Also Im in for farming SOME trophies. Ive already done about 20 of them so I can do them again Im sure. I just dont want to sit in a game and have someone sit there and wait for me to destroy them with binocs in a warhawk lol. Id be in for farming the ones like having someone spawn in an APC in the enemies base... you need communication for that one and so far it doesnt seem like a lot of people use or have mics. Also am in for having a full dropship. That should be a simple silver trophy. Again just need communication.

I am waiting for the $15.99 3 booster pack deal on thursday so I wont be able to get those two until the store updates but Im in after that! theres prob a few others too.

Also can someone tell me what I need to do to host a dedicated ranked server. Thats an easy gold trophy I just dont want to run my PS3 for 4 hours without knowing for sure Im doing it right haha.

Oh also if anyone that isnt in the Blu clan already (dont want extra work for cymbol until he is ready lol) wants to do the warlord and enlistee clan trophies really quick on wednesday when the patch drops PM me. Myself and caliblue as well as about another 5 people are going to do it really quickly so we could use a couple more people and as long as we stay organized we should all be able to get both trophies in a matter of 30 minutes max.

So, what's a good way to get 50 combat points in a round? I'm trying to get the Exemplary Combat medal, but I never can get the 50. Is there some technique/game/trick to rack up combat points?

Create a player ranked server and play a 30 min deathmatch game... of course you have to be able to host 8 people and get them to join.

Deathmatch is easy like Colorado said. I actually got mine on collection. Idk how, LOL I guess nobody else was trying that hard. I joined a regular sony server of deathmatch the other day about halfway into I got the 50. It was a small map and everybody was pretty close so I just went for one of two people that were already fighting.

I have yet to purchase this game, but I will over the weekend. Im sure this will be one of those trophies that will give me problems. I run wirelessly and dont have a steady connection. Especially when someone has to check their myspace

When you go into a non blue room, make sure the trophy on the left side DOES NOT have a red X on it. If it does, it won't count towards your ranking.

I don't remember step for step how to create a ranked room. It's easy though. When you create it, one of the options will tell you what kind of room do you want to make. There's several different options and one of them should say player ranked or dedicated server. It will give you a description on the right side of each type. Just make sure it does say that it will be a ranked room or that your stats will go towards your rank.

Well, you could do Death Match (just set your filter to Death Match and look for ranked games). However, CTF is a pretty good place. Anything to do with the flag is huge points. Saving it, stopping a person from getting away with it, etc. Being the one to capture it is about 25 points by itself. I also suggest small maps with limited amounts of people - this ups your chances of being the one to capture/save the flag and gets you lots of combat points.

An easy 50. I usually get over 100 in these matches (not counted the new 50 points for the winning team) and sometimes over 200. I think my highest score in a game was around 350.

(I average 60 - 80 points a game now, not counting the extra 50).

Yeah but the CTF things arent combat points though I thought. They are team points (except for the actual killing of the guy part). But the capturing the flag etc are team points not combat points i thought.

Oooooooh, haha - sorry, was just thinking about points in general.

Then, yes, Death Match is the easiest way to make sure all of your points are combat related.

I usually get quite a bit, but that's because I'm a miner. I know you're thinking "Mines, don't kill many people". Consider though, Island Outpost (the entire map) has 8 mine locations with 4 mines in each pick up. That's 32 mines (that doesn't count the combat points I'm getting as I quickly make my way to each location). Once I finish laying them out, I start all over again - mining roads, planes, missile turrets, jeeps, weapons, door ways.

Like I said, by the end of a game, I usually have 60 points, on the low end and I'm probably in the top 3 on my team 80% of the time. All through mining (I wouldn't say I'm the best player, but I'm certainly leaving a lot of destruction through leaving mines everywhere).

Half the time, I'm not even around for the kill, I just see my name flash that I killed somebody.

Also I cant find a deathmatch to save my life. There are only a couple of team deathmatches as well. Does it matter which one I get my combat points for the medals in? What about the deathmatch medal? Is that either of them or just normal free for all deathmatch?

Welcome to the club. Half the people I play with regularly go to those or "rank limited" games. A lot of people set up ranked games to keep the officer ranks out. Very annoying.

Did you set your filter to "Death Match"? Combat points are combat points, no matter where you get them.

As for medal's, I rarely pay attention to them. I just play and usually find I have the medal to rank up. I know many people ask about "Warhawk Recruiting", so I looked at mine to make sure I had it, and I had over a 100 of them - had no idea. Most of these you earn through regular gameplay (if you play long enough). The only two I've had to work for is 5 Warhawk kills with machine guns and 4X4 (jeep kills).

Death Match is tracked as "Death Match" - I'm fairly certain "Team Death Match" does not count.

Like I said, set your filters to "Death Match" and "Ranked". There are Sony servers set up for it. (Although, this is probably the least played game type).

There are glitches in the system that are keeping us from adding new members; however, the update tomorrow is supposed to fix this.

Where are the other two?

I've only found 3 per side...

Also, how do you lay more than 4 mines at a time?

i died as soon as i got in a tank almost every time. and in the warhawks, i would get blown up as soon as i take off. that guy probably loved us for making his ranking go up. he probably had like 200 kills and 198 of them were us. he started just overing over us and following us. lol

i know! man honestly, i think that guy created the game. he was flying the warhawk like the AI. at any rate, i gave up on warhawk. and i still havent went up in rank!!!
