I passed on the Broken Mirror... are there very many servers using it? The APC doesn't really appeal to me at all. I like Omega Dawn, but noticed that servers using it on in the decided minority and I imagine even moreso for Broken Mirror...

I imagine everyone is checking out Fallen Star right now... whether it stays popular or not, who knows. I'll definitely be getting Fallen Star this weekend, though.

While Im not surprised that the majority of player ranked servers are doing Fallen Star. Why are there NO blue servers for either of the other packs half the time I look?

Either way no big deal. Packs are fun. Still learning original maps now I have 3 more to learn. Jetpacks are sweet and you can eject from Warhawks which is cool.

Still racking up the trophies

It is really irritating that I cant search for boosterpack maps. I can search for the map that came with the booster, but not all the other maps that use it...

Oh well. The Jet-pack is OUTSTANDING. It is like a new game.

I find most people play and prefer the Broken Mirror maps. Omega is older and never really caught on.

To help each other out (or at least the ones who want to collect trophies) do a group of 10 of us want to get together and take turns starting clans, so we can each get the trophy for creating a clan of 10 people?

I figure if enough people are interested in doing this, I can post a list, and try to organize the taking of turns, and it shouldn't take more than a day or two to eventually get everyone done.

Anyone want to?

your mic.

It could be someone is on open mic, and they have a lot of background that comes through as noise, but most likely, if you KNOW people are talking and you cant hear them, it is you.

More often than not, though, no one talks.

That one should be fine. If you hear noise (buzzing or anything else annoying), it is the other guys mic. not the game. If you hear nothing and you see there icon on the map turning yellow, check your settings. If you pressed Triangle in pregame, you muted everyone. If your "voice" option under sound is low, that could be a problem...

Then if none of that works, just re-sync it.

AND Make sure it is charged...

I hate Bluetooth, so I use USB ($5.99 boiiiii! ) now; no charging.

those jetpacks really do make this an entirely new game.

I was practicing some hot drops while letting my plane get shot to crap.. I flew over a zone while being persued, dropped a cluster bomb and bailed out while still in full flight. The chasing enemy continued to persue my plane shooting it to explosion while I dropped a couple mines around the flag, landed, took the zone, grabbed a new plane and continued on my way to the next zone. The other guy was clearly confused as he came circling around and then boosted off. EXACTLY as I was hoping I could do!

The only really bad stuff is the jetpack aerial dogfights take some serious coordination (until I get used to it I'm sure), but it makes things so much more dynamic. Gone are the annoying times you wish you could jump higher or just needed to "RUN" faster. Now you just boost away. Talk about diving out of the tanks way! The dodge does work fairly well for the rocket launchers too. And it's sooooo awesome to bail if you know you're getting fired at by a close missile turret and don't have time to save yourself because you can just hover in the air and blow it to bits with a rocket launcher (take THAT you annoying missile turret bastahds!).

I was only able to get an hour of trigger time but I was digging the new maneuvers I could pull off, and it's an obvious game changer in terms of strategy and teamwork. Two people jumping into a warhawk is no longer a gamble with the ability to bail out if the pilot chooses to be a jerk and not drop you off.

Excellent indeed.

Question for y'all.

Is there a way to adjust toe volume of custom sound tracks while playing? I love having my own music, but hate that its so loud that it drowns out the rest of the game . I tried turning Music down in the option, but that didnt work.

Goto the in-game XMB, go to the top of your music icon so you can see the player, goto the volume in that window and turn it down to -2. That should bring it down sufficiently.
