Has anyone had a problem with the game shutting down their PS3? This was a problem when the game first launched and I haven't had a problem with it until recently with the new patch. I have read a few other people with the same problem. Funny thing is WarHawk is the only game that is causing this for me.

So anyone else been experiencing this?

Might have been a coincidence but I tried ingame music today and I got network problems - when I signed back in and stopped the music I couldn't see the game I'd been playing earlier!?

Anyway, a little disappointed that the new level isn't very prominent, so I hosted one of my own. I like it, and I love the jet pack

Haven't had any freezing lately, although Warhawk does freeze on me once in a while - but this has always been an issue no matter which patch is in effect.

However, since the latest patch - I have yet to have one freeze (although I'm sure it will happen), and I've played many hours with it since the patch came out and using in-game music almost everytime.

I don't think it has anything to do with the latest patch. Just coincidence.

I'm a big fan of the jetpacks - after using them for a while, it seems so slow to have to walk somewhere. People seem pretty split on if they like them or not. Right now it seems to be 50-50, either love em' or hate em'.

I love the new dimension to the game they bring and I still feel things are fairly even. (Not like the dropship allowing the flag to be flown in just a few seconds.)

What about you all - love the jetpacks, or hate them?

Only thing I noticed is *just* before entering a game the music will sometimes drop for a second. As far as game disappearing that could be the server dropped, the game completed and moved to another game type if your filtered etc... had that happen where lots of time was left.. but CTF hit the capture limit and server cycled to zones etc. I have the in-game music about half the time .. sometimes I just forget about it being there. Habits.

Prior to the latest updates if someone powered our router on and off ..I would need to exit to the XMB, network connection test and then re-enter Warhawk to reconnect.Since the latest update I can now re-connect immediately which means something did change recently on the network front.. for me however it has worked out to be more robust to an abnormal condition

I had a few problems but none recently, I think there is an added element of instability because of the constant network connection. If it drops or there is some missing information it is likely to mess things up. However, I did have an experience last week where the game froze on me I pressed and held the PS button to try to bring up the "quit game" option, nothing happened, I got up to reset the PS3 and just as I was going to do so the in-game XMB came up and I was able to go back to playing my game, where I left off. The console was unresponsive for a good 30+ seconds, and I could see the frozen image of the warhawk game. So my advice is to maybe give it a little bit of time to see if it corrects the issue.

can someone please explain this game to me...i want it to get some trophies and everyone says it's fun, but i'm not a big online gamer. do you just fly around killing each other or what??

Do you have the game? If yes, then do the new training missions and you get a trophy for each one, then as you play the game various achievements will gain you more.

I played against a guy who is already up to 50% on warhawk trophies!! I'm on 5%...

I love the Jetpacks... it felt almost impossible for me to get a flag on a few games... now I can get them easier with the Jetpack, or if I need to make a quick escape from a bunch of idiots in warhawks.

Hey Cymbol... in that game last night, two or three guys were after me and they both ran into one of my air mines, hehehe.

For the first time in about 8 months, I logged in and played for about 2 hours.

Picked up 12 trophies.

Can't tell you how excited I was when I jumped in a plane and killed someone. Sucks to be them.

A certain BLU member was on a much better team and kept trying to pick on me as I was outnumbered. He shall remain nameless.

I went through the training to get the "pity" trophies. Needless to say, I'm not a "great" player now. However, I was still able to outsmart people and I did shoot down about 6 Warhawks with my tank (one in a million shot my butt).

Anyhow, I might play off and on since there are trophies now. I actually went back to playing my 360 because the trophy thing made me want achievements.

Anyway, I am better in a Warhawk than I used to be, which means I stay alive long enough to know I'm going to die, instead of simply exploding into a ball of flames like some kind of recurring spontaneous combustion victim.

I've moved on to mining - chances are, if you ever land your Warhawk on the ground you'll meet one of my mines.

Did you get the new map with the jetpacks?

I bought the add-on, but didn't know how to use it.

I was thrilled to just be hitting the first button right. Although on one map I suicided about 7 times.

I'm going to play for a few tonight to see if I can't throw a grenade right again.

I kept yelling out "just one kill! just one!"

trying to kill Copy is crazy but theres nothing like dying and saying "WHO IN THE FRIGGIN' HELL WAS THA... oh it's a friend"

even tho you haven't played in months Copy, your flying skills are still excellent! I could barely keep up when you were dodging.

Thanks. I haven't played at all and when we met that was my first minutes in a plane pretty much.

Okay, I just played an hour with the new jet packs. I love them and hate them.

They add a new dimension to the game. Like that.

However, I think they should have a limited fuel supply to make it more realistic.

I'm still trying to get used to the game again. I did earn a few more trophies though.

limited fuel would be a bit frustrating to me, trying to snipe someone with the jetpack would be frustrating because you'd be double checking if you have enough fuel, trying to get somewhere would be a bit frustrating to if theres water below you to, haha

Guess I'm more into challenge and strategy. Seems a bit too arcade-ish right now.

I think a key is to stay low to the ground so you can break RL locks. I used my JP earlier when I saw a TOW coming in. And another time when that little green laser came at me.

I got some mine kills by placing them in unusual places. Thanks to JPs, people are going all over the place.

I got this one today easily. I was in a tank and had just killed some guy on the ground. My cannon was pointed up the hill and this Warhawk stops right in my crosshairs and starts shooting at this other guy. I just pulled the trigger and BAM.

Very nice.

Unfortunately, I relegated myself to the rookie servers this morning, because I am just BAD when playing with experts.

I need help from an expert though:

I realized this weekend that my rank is being held back two spots because of on 'award' I cant pull off. It's called "Warhakw recruiting" i think, and the requirements are:

- Spend 4 minutes in a Warhawk
- Kill one enemy on foot
- Kill one enemy in a vehicle.

No matter how hard I try, I just cant pull this off for some reason. Is it 4 consecutive minutes? The kills have to be from the Warhawk I assume? I try TOW missles and cluster bombs, and nothing seems to work. I guess I just gotta keep at it. So frustrating though.

Any tips on pulling this one off would be appreciated!

I just got that one last night. I was in a Warhawk when I killed those guys, and I don't think its consecutive minutes, just in a round.

just a round.

Easy way is a kill a troop, then a jeep/tank, then go to the edge of the map and just hover, and hover, and hover. after u think of 3 mins hovering, just stay in a warhawk, fly around, and kill people, you will surely get it.
