That's how I feel with these last 5,000 points. They're in sight, - I've got the hard part out of the way; but I'm just exasperated now and want to get them out of the way.

I won't be trying for any more rank after this one. I'm working on Warhawk flying and sniping skills (two things I'm horrible at).

Strange, because I'm vying for the opposite. I'm not really looking for the medals. I'm just gonna get as many points as possible and then after that, I'll go for the things that'll unlock the rank. After that, I'll be going for the badges.

how the hell do you get the bandwidth trophy? I hosted a ranked-dedicated server for like 6 hours the other day and didn't get it.

I'm going for points - not medals. So, I'm doing the same as you. I have almost all the ribbons or medals I need all the way through general - just not the points. Of course, I don't think I'll ever have enough points for general. Which is why I'll just stop worrying about getting points during a game once I get my next rank. I'll be happy with that as my "final" rank.

Then, I'll be working on medals and ribbons as personal achievements and as a side game for myself. That's kind of how I play for points. It's just my personal goal to cause as much destruction and mayhem during the game and rack up the points.

Making 2nd lieutenant absolutely sucks, being virtually locked into 2 or 3 official expert servers that are always full.

The player-ranked servers are a crapshoot; kicks, bans, disconnects, LAG.

It's the first rankup for me that actually felt like I was being punished for accomplishing something. I can't stand FF, I paid money for this game and I shouldn't be forced to play FF all the time.

They really need to bring in a "semi-pro" level server with FF on some and no FF on others. Rank would be from Command Sergeant to Major.
I am 9 ranks above a recruit and I certainly wouldn't expect them to be forced to play against me so why am I forced to play against ppl 10 ranks higher than me (General)?

Half the time I go to join someone from the Blu-Clan I can't, says I can't join the "Rank Limited Server".
What a hassle. There were about 8 to 10 Blu-Clan members playing the other day and I couldn't join ANY of them. Either the game was full, or they were in a rank limited or rookie room. . . . just wanna play with my buddies.

Heh, my original clannie has got to 2nd Lt and can't ever join my games anymore. I am a Command Sergeant. There definitely should be that "intermediary" stage of official servers ... I would suggest Chief Sergeant through Captain....

How funny. However, I don't think they should have listed anyone under 400 as cheaters. I've gotten over 200 IAR a good many times, (even before the 50 pts for winning) and even over 300 IAR a few times, (again, BEFORE the 50 pts for winning). It can definitely be done.

Usually I've gotten these by playing CTF on small maps. You can get quite a few flag caps and kills (which is why I always suggest these maps for folks going for points.)

So, 200 - 300 pts IAR is definitely not a sure sign of cheating. . . . . 40,000 + IAR might be pushing it though.

There are definitely legit players in the top 50 listed there, but it's painfully obvious who's getting a lump of coal for Xmas

The worst part is, a lot of these players are good enough that if they reset their stats their are going to decimate any hopes of newer players in rookie servers.

Some people play Warhawk all day - some people stat pad all day. With the 50 winning points, you can easily get 50 points every few seconds. Do that all day, I guess.

Just think, even if you spent a day doing that, you'd save countless hours and days getting the 40,000 legit. I know it's a lot of work getting my 20,000 for my next rank. Been at it for a few weeks now, and probably have a few weeks left to finish it.

No no. That 40K points is IN ONE ROUND. Not by winning over and over. Plus they have a 10 minute rules now for the 50 pt bonus.

Where's the head-scratching smiley - got me.

But people have found glitches before - the Tank Glitch (invisible tank firing anywhere on the map) and the Warhawk Glitch (going into the water and coming up from the ground on the map), and a few others. I'm too busy playing the game to figure those things out.

Let them have their 40k points. When we meet in the game, we'll see who earned their points.

I don't see how you guys can keep playing this game. It is probably the worst online game I've played in my entire life. Servers never make the teams fair. I played 8 matches tonight and 7 out of those 8 matches my team was outnumbered by at least 3 players per round. And every single match was nothing but a bunch of clan people playing together destroying people that want to just play casually. This game is just absolute BS.

Join a Clan and play with them. You're right, it can't be argued that the game has become unbalanced, however, it's not the game, it the people. They switch teams or leave as soon as they're not ahead.

I found a few fair games tonight. And I had fun when I played those games. See, I had fun playing Warhawk tonight - so, I keep playing. Riddle solved.

I would just like to add my current team win-loss is 62 wins and 148 losses (or something very close to that).

I also checked and the last time I actually WON A FREAKING ROUND was on the 3rd!!!!!! The freaking 3rd! And I have played at least an hour and a half every day since then. Thats 8 freaking days without a win..... this is getting ridiculous.

I dont get it. My win-loss the last week have been 40 wins and 5 losses. Seems I'm lucky
