Recently, there have been network issues. Last night, it wouldn't let me and another guy sign on. We logged out and logged back in and it worked. But there were hardly any games (rooms) to choose from. (Usually, there are over a hundred to choose from at any given time).

I found 1 Sony server (usually there are around 20 for any particular kind of game), we played for one round then both got disconnected. Some really screwy stuff lately with Sony's online service.

However, I don't own the disc, I have the game downloaded - so I can't be sure that you don't simply have a disc problem.

Make sure the disc is clean - and just keep trying every few hours. It could Sony's online service, not Warhawk.

Unfortunately, you got the game right at the moment that online issues popped up. Normally, you log in, no problem and have a few hundred games to choose from.

Keep trying, dude.

There should be a lot of people playing. Also there might be an influx of players due to new holiday system sales.

Technically no one was playing yesterday.

How about "You Are All Going to Die" HAHA, even team-kills, which I seem to have started getting good at!! Must be all the adrenaline in the war zone!!

I see you made Commander Cymbol, 70,000 points, ahhhhh. I'm stagnant at the moment trying to get to 35,000...

That's not what I said at all.

There seems to be server problems the last day or so, however, once it gets fixed (usually, any issues are fixed pretty quick with Sony) - I'm sure you'll have a hundred rooms to choose from again.

Be sure and stop back by if you have any questions or need tips.

I feel so violated!

Commander seemed like it took FOREVER! (The 20,000 points needed between ranks).

What rank is 35,000? How many more do you need?

You know my recommendation for points - small CTF (8 player) with small maps. You'll get lots of kills and there's many opportunities for flag caps (big points) and flag saves on these boards. Usually over a hundred points a game, easy. (Not counting ribbons).

Copywriter has 84,778 points. Think I've been in this area for months now since I stopped playing. Think I might suck it up and hit 90k.

BTW, I find I don't score much in games, because I kill a lot. If you want points, you need to kill less. Either get the flag or defend it.

For instance, I can play a round and finish with 56 kills, but that's just 56 points. Instead, I could sit around the flag, pick up 15-20 kills and get tons of points.

Of course, the new 50 points for being on a winning team helps.

Cymbol, are you creating a ranked player game?

I score about 80 points a game (without ribbons) or flag caps (a flag cap usually put me over 100). However, I do a LOT of behind the scenes, taking Zones and mining everything. Most of the kills I get, I'm not even around to see.

That is a HUGE help, when going to points to rank up. The only time I actually went for points was for Commander.

No, I'm not going for General - I don't have that much time on my hands.

What's terrible about the rank I'm at is that I'm just now starting to climb into the Warhawk. (I just got 50 hours

). However, at his rank, I'm playing some fairly skilled pilots, so it's a bit of a learning curve. I manage not to explode 5 seconds after I start to hover - I'm up to 10 now.

sorry, I have a lot of questions about this game...I'm at work, but, my PS3 is at home downloading all of the addons right now...I'm really looking forward to trying it out.

I don't know what you mean there, but ranking is just for fun really. It doesn't actually give you anything.

However, there are some game rooms that have rank caps. Once you hit Commander (basically expert level), you can't play on the "lower level" games.
