I'm between games at the moment and have been back on WH after quite a break; I love it! I fell back into the controls in no time and the maps are as much fun as they ever were; the sign of a truly great game; this is three years old and is still absolutely superb. In fact, there's never been another game quite like it, which makes me wonder why it has never had a sequel?

I'll be on tonight, planting mines on enemy planes...

Hey bud, Yeah, I just join whatever server is open and typically try to join servers where I know the host is fair (not kicking cause his team is losing, etc.). I do miss the wrenches on his maps, and get kind of annoyed when he's listed on my team cause he is rarely playing.

Anyway, the WD clan has pretty much stopped playing.

I recently joined the PRYD Clan (Honor and Pride) - if you would like, I can put in a word for you. They Clan battle quite often - have 3 set up for Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The old WD Clan Leader told them I was good and so they sent me an invite based on his recommendation.

Let me know, and I'll let them know that you're interested and that your very good (usually, when I see you on the losing team, you're one of the few who is doing anything to stop the onslaught - I know that feeling! Haha).

Yeah, these guys are almost too active - I play when I can (which is often), but my time is limited. And with a kid, I really can't schedule, so I was surprised when they started asking me which Clan Battles I could attend.

But they seem to Clan Battle quite often.

I just got in the Clan, so I don't know if my recommendation holds much weight - but I'll mention your name.

yea clan battles are way more fun, because you get to learn people's strengths and it's not just a haphazard mix of folks running around. That, and I get a chance to learn tactics from players better than me rather than just get pounded to oblivion trying to figure out how they do it.

Yeah, this new Clan is pretty serious - they have a hierachy, Pilots, Infantry, Zone takers/defenders.

I haven't played in a battle with them yet to see how it all works out. They said they only take the "elite", but I've played with them a few times and so far, don't really see them as all elite - good players - but haven't come across anyone that always has my number.

But I guess we'll see how they get it together in battles. Seem like a good group of folks so I'll probably stay with them for a while.

I just reinstalled this last week. I didn't know there was a tournament for july 4th last month and winners got some cool knife. I need to play more. lol.

That was pretty cool. What was that airship looking thing? Those guys all clustered together like that would get flattened.

How did they take out that tank with one hit? It wasn't even smoking or anything.

I liked Warhawk as it was on the PS3.

It was before it was released and were going to have a campaign. I just want a campaign I love the game as is too of course but a campaign on that engine could be amazing, and with 2-4 co-op

Yeah, I havent played for about a year...and I was close to getting the platinum.

I'm about 10,000 points away from General.

Still, getting a plat on this game is still crazy - getting "Warhawk" level badges on all weapons requires tons of time.

I really think getting a Plat on Warhawk is the Holy Grail of Platinum Trophies. It will take someone a couple of years at least - just to get General. Luckily, I just play for fun and don't care about trophies, or this game might drive me crazy, even though I have most of them).

I liked it better before they fixed the rank 'glitch.' I got so discouraged, I'll probably never get there and don't play much anymore, though still like the game. Badly needs a patch to integrate the DLC together instead of the fragmentation that was probably suitable when they were fresh, but definitely isn't now. I still miss Dogfighting, too. I have enough points for a couple ranks in advancement but need the aerial gunnery badge. Never seem to kill enough with Warhawk guns to get it.

Yeah, I have a few hundred air to air kills to get still for General. Not too hard though (Need 5,000 air to air kills). I was just never much of a flyer - and when I did I usually attacked ground troops.

So, probably a few more weeks worth of playing - but I'm on LBP2 now - but I'll get it.

Not going to get this close to have General and then stop. Took way too long to get there.
