Still one of my favorite PS3 games. Wish there was a way to revitilize it and get continued support. I do like Starhawk better but it never caught as big a following.

It's just a shame though that due to the whole change up in the way online games are now set up and developed, we may never see a game like Warhawk again.

Well, since Lightbox have been reduced to making mobile games now, yeah, you might as well dream.

Still All I would hope for is for Warhawk on the PS4, since Yoshida implied that they might port some PS3 games over to PS4. So yeah. Please, 1080p/60fps Warhawk, please...with all DLC and patches included.

Even after 5 or so years, Warhawk is my favourite online game, there is nothing that comes close to the arcade fun the game offers. Starhawk, the ‘spiritual successor’ unfortunately lost its way a bit and wasn’t well received from both fans and press alike.

So I got on the blower to my mate Dylan Jobe (actually it was Twitter but hey ho) and asked him if he had thought about using Kickstarter to get Warhawk 2 off the ground. This was his reply

Did you read that! Warhawk 2 has a concept! It must be a good one to if there isn’t enough money in Kickstarter to make it happen. That’s not all either. A fellow fan also tweeted Jobe asking about Warhawk 2 and his reply was just as interesting

All this means is that Jobe and co needs the funds for Warhawk 2 to be a reality. So it’s up to Sony Santa Monica to do what ever they need to do to make this game happen. Speaking of Sony SM, there was a news story about a new game they were working on, along with the producer of Battlestar Galactica. According to what I could gather about the new game, it sounds like Warhawk Material. Read the full article here

Hopefully Sony Santa Monica, Dylan Jobe and whoever else is involved can get together and bring the fans Warhawk 2.

Oh yeah, Warhawk and/or Starhawk sequel would have made me much more likely to want a PS4 at launch
