Hellava good time today with Warhawk. Had 2 members of the Blu clan, who kicked major ass, bye the way

Liz89 and another ashliz. I would like to personally thank them for helping me go from a Airman 1st Class to Wingman

Yup, looks like the stat problem is fixed...well for me as of today it is. heh heh

Yep, stats are fixed and purposeful TKing and stat whoring on CTF games is in effect.

I wish they'd change CTF, so the winning team (the whole team) gets something like 50 points or so. Nothing is worse than being on a team where 7+ members just sit at the base.

Oh, and on that note, last night I got my first capture-to-return of the flag. My heart was pounding from the second I grabbed their flag. When I ran up to our home it was exhilarating. Would have done it twice, but some stat ***** TKed me at the end and took the flag.

Because the game wants to show you how much you really suck. Over and over and over.

I've been playing a week and I hate going near a Warhawk except to quickly jump to another base. I'm finally able to get a kill now and again.

I'd like to know why it takes me a couple missile hits to bring down another plane, yet I die with one hit.

This week I plan on spending lots of time in a Warhawk. Even if I get 2 kills and die 500 times. I don't care. I've seen some good flyers and it's a real advantage.

Although, they still can't touch me in a jeep.

I own at flying. Double tapping R2 gives you boost. Holding L2 and R2 gives you continual boost. R2 extra speed.

Holding L1 allows you to lock onto planes.

These things took me a few days to figure out and I got owned over and over. Now I'm top 3 every game every time.

My SN is SofaKenGood and I'm in Dog Fight only rooms a lot.

Create your own game offline and practice flying, you will get the hang of it. use the left stick to steer - basically point the plane in the direction you want to go in, then the lower shoulder buttons for acceleration and brake. A double tap of accelerate will boost you.

use the right stick to evade missiles and do loops, etc.

As for missle strikes, I think it depends how cleanly you are hit, i.e if you are going toward a missile there is an excellent chance it will kill you, but if you are flying away from it the damage could be less as these missiles don't fly forever.

Also, try to use the yellow missiles that lock on, they are more powerful.

these missiles are the reason for the one hit kill. They take 3/4 of your energy away.

I need to check my stats. I've been in the top 5 in most of the server i play on. I like zones, since i can earn a lot of points building the bases.

we play where ever lol but i try to normally find the blu clan members and join them. Billy aka dadds normally has a server going every once in awhile and we have a blast.

The plane is for sure the hardest top get used too. But once you do you hardly think about the controls.

I could have bought Warhawk and had it been 100% DogFights Only and been happy with the game.

Everything else is just added awesomeness.

I know all the controls. It's the putting it all together. Sometimes I think I'm doing well and then BAM.

I also did the self-game thing to get used to getting the plane in the air. Now I just need to learn how to fly well (shake enemies, kill them, avoid missiles).

Every time I get the missile lock notice I freeze, because I don't know where it's coming from.

Flying seems a bit "fast" for me right now. I get lost on the map.

I do have some kills so I'm not 100% crap--just about 90%.

CTF is my main game. Zones is 2nd. TDM is pointless. I like a goal to shoot for. Although, I'm getting annoyed with CTF. More and more I get on stat ***** teams. 10+ people just sit at the flag and wait. "Good games" aren't winning, they're just seeing points added to your name.

When I get on a decent CTF team I love this game so much. I love charging the enemy base over and over.

i love zones aswell. at first i didnt like CTF bc of what you said all the ppl would stay at the base and only one person would go over and basically you have no luck. But when you get on a good team its soooo much fun

It's all about the CTF for me, during the beta I'd only play zones so maybe I'll tire of CTF eventually.

i agree with everyone. Stat *****s suck and they make the games that much more aggrevating. CTF is so much fun when you get people that participate and communicate. There are those rooms though where noone talks to each other and they all just do their own thing.
I HATE TDM, there seems to be no point to it, no goal.
I have played zones a couple times, but everytime I played I got on a crappy team with no communiciationa and we kept losing, so I left.
Those would be fun also, if there was good communication.

I must admit. Im a bit of a stat *****. I dont camp the flag in CTF or play dirty thou. I like to earn my kills the way we are meant to earn them. I do have a bad habit of going strait for the sniper rifle, finding the best spot around the enemy camp and takin ppl down. By far my favorite weapon. Waiting for the 28 player cap to be fixed to join up with the Blu-Clan thou.

I like CFT (which kind of includes "Zones" by default, since getting zones closer to the opposing team's flag makes it easier to keep trying for the capture).

I don't tend to "camp" at the flag, but sometimes, the other team seems to keep coming non-stop and I simply can't take a break (or risk losing the flag since everyone else seems to be off trying to capture the flag.)

I go back and forth and usually try and capture the zones so others can spawn closer.

My favorite weapon: Mines!
