I'm torn between downloading it and buying the disc. On one hand, I love having my games just saved to my hard drive, but I really need the bluetooth headset too. Hmm.. I've got a little time to decide anyway, but this game is definitely a must buy.

Another PS3 title that you can't play with your friends (in the same room). Which means it's another PS3 game I have no use for. They've got a glut of single player/online multiplayer games, and so few offline multiplayer games.

Am I the only one who likes to play games with his friends? I really want to buy some PS3 titles to help move the platform along. I just wish they'd make one for social gamers.

You haven't done your research my friend. Up to 4 splitscreen co-op. So you CAN play with 3 other friends at the same time. Do research next time before bashing the game. Oh yea it seemless so they can join by hitting the select or ps button and join your game already in progress with no disturbing your game. Sounds good to me.

I know what you mean buddy. I'm not too happy that i can't bring my friends online with me on R:FOM and R6. After the missions are done, theres really no point just doing co-op over and over, and my friends definitely wont just hangout to watch me go online alone.
I don't see why we can't just connect online with 2-4 players for more games, halo does it easily.
Or do game developers really think we gamers are lonely people who sit at home by ourselves playing games online with no "physically present" friends. Hopefully more games follow this "trend" of warhawk.

can't wait for this one. Just upgraded my HDD so I can download more stuff. but now I'm not sure if I want to, or just get the BD so I can get the head set and stuff.... whatcha think?

LOL, same here - unless they send out a special pin for the gamers with the lowest scores. I LOVED the beta test, but the real question for me is if it will scale to 1080i. The beta would only go up to 720, which means on my TV I was stuck with 480p only. The will be a dealbreaker for me if the final version is still stuck with topping out at 720p. There is no excuse for new PS3 games not to either natively render at 1080 or at least upscale, not when every Tom, Dick, and Harry game for the 360 will at least upscale to it.

Nice to see that another game has gone gold. Last I heard was that the game was delayed, but I don't know if that was just a rumor or not. I do have one question. The article said that the game is multiplayer only so does that mean this game plays like microsoft flight simulator 2004 or you can be by yourself or like the matrix online where you go through a single player mode on your own? The IGN website doesn't have a review for this game yet. Can you play against the computer if you are by yourself?

I assume, if they dont have it right away, they may add the option later that will allow you to make a map filled with bots.

There is no single player 'story' at all. Most of it is done online. The question is what options you have hosting a match, if you can single it out to yourself and a bunch of bots.

But overall, its an online multiplayer game.

I have to admit I too am a little surprised about the number of 1 player off line games on PS3. I don't always want to play online, I have a family I'd like to play against too.
