Default Warhawk Servers

Saw this on Digg. I didn't know game servers were actually PS3 consoles.

I wonder if all servers for PS3 games are set up like this. Makes you wonder how long they've had them and if it had any affect on the shortage during launch. I would be very interested to see the servers for R:FoM...

From the blog, it sounds like a newer idea, so that if servers aren't available close by, your ps3 and who ever your playing with becomes the server to reduce latency.

It says it in the article that you can set your system up as a dedicated server that can host 32p or you can have the "play in" server with only 24p, but you actually get to play in that.

I was part of the Beta and I must say, this is a MUST BUY! I loved the Beta, I can't wait to get my hands on it again. And I'm getting the blu-ray version as well.

How do the planes handle? I'm seriously looking at picking this up and am quite excited about blowing s*** up in a jet. I just hope they handle better than those monstrosities in, say, Battlefield.

I'm pretty sure I'll be buying this game but I am still going to wait for the reviews first before dropping $59.99 on a game.

For 59.99 you get more the just the game. You also get a bonus disk (behind the scene stuff) and a headset. or if you still cant justify 60 bucks then you can down load for about 40 from the PSN...

How big would the download be? I'm guessing about 15 gigabytes.
