I'll be playing on the 28th, and taking it to my brothers house to convince him to buy it too. Unless I download the game, then he's coming to my house to check it out.

I have been wondering if I should just download the game and save 20$.. I wonder how good the headset will be in the boxed version. I have one but it is just "ok".

Also, how much space does the DL take up? I kind of like having cases for my games but also would be nice not to have to swap cds. Will the game run faster off the HD?

I will be picking up the game at Fry's on August 28 along with Blades of Glory on BD.

I won't download because there is no resale value in a download. I plan to sell the head set on ebay since I already have one.

i think i'm going to have to buy this game vs just renting it. it looks pretty good.

Ya I just read 800mb as well.. and that the files are all compressed and uncompressed when they are loaded. This means the disc version will probably be all uncompressed due to disc size and faster loading.

I'm going for the box set since you can't play a dl at a friend's house or loan it out.

Not initially, probably can pick up the game on ebay later on without the headset. I am glad they are pushing the headset as I hate playing online with no mics, but I wish they would have the hard copy in stores without the headset at $40.
