Yeah, I went down to a Wingman as well.

I remember looking at the requirements to rank up when I first started playing the game . . . I remember thinking the points required were a bit astronomical - I was reminded of that sharply today. They want some serious play time of people to rank up.

I didn't check to see how far I was from the next rank . . . but I have seen what the future holds.

I'm only Sergeant Major, but I should be higher. I got ripped off. I have over 35,000 points and have earned the items required for the next two levels.

So, I get to do it all over again.

Anyone else only see lvl 4 ranked servers online? I tried setting rank to any and all sorts of stuff, but only lvl 4 servers appear.

Haven't really looked at the server levels.

Yeah, I'm disappointed with the rank stuff. I have no problem being set back to the rank I should have been - but I have many accomplishments that are not listed/saved. 4X4 kills with a jeep - Never - . Uh, I think I've run just a few folks over with a jeep before.

Overall, it's not a big deal. It's still the same game - I just don't look as fashionable.

I hate it when you know you met the requirement to get the badge or ribbon that you need and it doesn't register. It took me about 5 different tries to get the pistol badge... each time I got the kills needed, lightning gun was the same way.

This is a bit of a bummer as well. I tried to join several people I saw online today (ashliz, liz89, jedivball, etc.), all their games were full.

I think in a future update they're supposed to allow you to create a room and reserve spots for your clan mates/buddies. (Or was that this update?)

The next update, 2.0, due in Dec sometime, will allow you to reserve spots.

i was commander until i played in a ranked match today now i am back to sergant.... grrrrr i had so many points and medals, now they r gone?? that sucks oh well.... i just wish rankin up actually gave u stuff like new guns or something...

Yeah, having the same uniforms - only with adjustable colors, is a little weak.

Tried to join a game with Colorado but it was full - same with Jafo. But later, Jafo and Vektar joined my room and we had fun blowing each other up. Jafo constantly gets some great scores. Next time I need to be on his team so I can follow him around and see what he's doing.

I was having a grand ol' time playing, then the phone rang, it was my wife - "Hi, I'll be home soon, need anything". Coming home?! When did it become 5pm?!

Mines mines and more mines, mine the mine spawn point, throw a mine and back a tank(tank usually takes 2) or jeep over it. Mine their spawn points. When trying to save the flag, mine the whole area. Mine the health pick ups...hell, Ive been know to mine the opposing spire, you know, where all the goodies are at the top of the spire.

Damn good times today with all.

Yeah, it was cool that Colorado Blu Skies created a room that we all got to join in. Sometimes, those small groups are fun.

Colorado was kicking my @ss when I first joined - luckily, I was able to get focused and give him a bit more run for his money later.

I'm all about mining as well (I saw Vektar's name pop up a few times from my mines )- I get totally bummed out when I spawn - and start running towards the mines and someone else is getting there first. What makes it worse is when I see him lay all four on the ground right next to eachother. Oh well, I did the same thing when I first started.

Look forward to doing it again.

Unfortunately, I'll be away all this week on business (from Monday till Friday morning). Hope to catch you all for a bit today.

Snipers and Warhawks - haven't managed to truly grasp either.

For sniper rifles - when someone is running, say, downhill from far away - do you shoot infront of them or keep the scope right on them? Is there timing involved, or simply, if you shoot while their in your scope they are dead?

Rank reduction hit me not the first game after teh patch, but the second. I'm down from Air Marshal.

As far as the chat, I'll turn the chat volume real low (or off) if I don't like what I'm hearing. I wish the Chat/Mic setup was more like BF2 with a delegated chain of command and that in-game you could only hear your clan/squad mates. And that the Squad/Clan leader could only talk to higher.

We also need a way to communicate without full chat. Full keyboard support would be nice, but without keyboard and mouse control it would be too cumbersome. So while I would love full KB/mouse control support, it's unlikely. We could get at least the basic functions ("enemy spotted", "let's attack this position", etc).

Indeed, I really don't like killing my clan mates... and I got a good laugh from your payback mine...after a loud "SONOVA! don't use my trick on me dagnamit".

Though, today I was teamkilled a lot, by a low life drone and his little yam bag leaching friend. They really need a vote off feature, like Socom... or lower the number of times before they are kicked.

I had an absolute blast yesterday... player ranked servers are the best. Although I can only have 12 total players right now I like having kick/ban control for those that purposely TK for their own amusement.

CYMBOL you missed the carnage of the Team Death Match round. It was all out war in the Badlands middle fortress area. The level is so small that you can not help but bump into the opposing force... I had 49 kills

Can't wait to play with you all again...
