Yeah, check out that website - the screenshots are awesome. I love how the dropship is holding the tank through some kind of electrical current. Looks like a fantastic update.

It adds a great new dimension to the game.

2 QUESTIONS

1) I have a basic understanding of how to score points but I'd like a thorough explanation of all the ways you can score points. The manual isnt very clear on this. I know territory snatching and kills and flag captures. Those are gimmes...but how else? And how in the world does one earn Team Points in a dogfight??? Answers are much appreciated.

2) When you spot a clan member online and you join in on the game - do you prefer to a) play on your clan member's team no matter what whether your dishing out an absolute sholocking or taking one.... or do you b) play with the team that needs you or that you were originally assigned to whether or not you end up on your clanmates team?

I try to join a Blu-Clan member to be on their team. Period. If I can switch I do. Doesn't matter to me which team happens to be doing better.

That's just me. If I can be on their team, I will. (Unless it unfairly balances the teams). Still try to keep things fair.

The Omega Dawn Booster pack adds 3 key things:

* A night-time battlefield with 6 layouts called the “Omega Factory”. It’s huge btw.
* New 7-player aircraft called the KT-424 Combat Dropship.
* And 5 updated bonus layouts for battlefields from the original game so that you can play using the new Dropship.

First let me ramble on about the new battlefield: Many of you all wanted a night time level so that’s what we did. The battlefield takes place at night well… actually at early dawn. We wanted to make this level a bit more challenging and visually improved than our previous levels. It has more involved building layouts with more vertical structures, platforms and detailed spaces for ground troops.

This and the flOW expansion are the first Add-on's I've actually been excited to buy. ₤4 sounds alright for this expansion.

every play WarHawk for PSone? well its nothing like that at all no blue vitreal or what ever it was called. theres plans, jeeps, tanks and comming soon a drop ship that can carry 7 people and a jeep or tank. you have the option of finding 8 weapons for the ground troop, and 8 weapons when you are in the warhawk. The warhawk has 2 modes hover and flight. there are 4 types of games capture the flag, Zones, team death match and death match, also dogfight. SO mostly you just find weapons and shoot the other team and try to take their flag, or control of a zone. Its a simple game thats tons of fun to play.

I'm pretty sure many who left because of all the game BS will not be coming back. Charging $8 is like a slap in the face.

While I don't care about the $8, I do feel the update should be free given the problems of the past or at least free to everyone who had bought it by X date.

I can't wait to see how this works then. Will rooms be limited only to those who bought the add-on?

1. Best bet is to just play the game and not worry about points. In general, you get points for killing people, capturing the flag, grabbing the flag, killing the guy capturing the flag, saving the flag, taking a base and so forth.

You also earn bonus points for earning ribbons. If you're a points person, playing CTF is usually the best, followed by Zones. And you can usually get more points by playing in smaller games.

But all points does is make you rank up and it will eventually limit what servers you can play on. So, hopefully your skills are growing with it, because you'll soon be on LVL 4 servers.

2. I try to play with clan members. I can have fun and smack down people anywhere. It's more fun when you're with a clan member though. However, if I notice the clan member is playing DM or TDM, I'll pass. I almost only play CTF and will sometimes hit up Zones.

While I liked playing in ranked only servers, I'll play anywhere with clan members if it's fun.

U don't need a headset to play. It can help if you are on a team that communicates well though. I also recommend creating your own room with a password so you can practice for a little bit. Then I would create a room that only recruits can join so that you can play against people with the same skill set.

This game is a lot of fun and if you need tips just ask us.
