sorry i desperately want to play an organized clan match but i couldnt this morning. my sisters down from the air force and my parents wanted us to go to church as a family before she ships off to england for 2 years. how did it go?

and for the short time i was on when we did join that ranked server, lucky me, like with half the other games, got stuck on the wrong end of my teammates Ugly Stick.

ok, i need some help, or maybe im just retarded. do vehicles get better with better rank? it takes abajillion missle for me to kill someone, but i die to two missle. and other peeps always seem to be evading, but it seems im like the size of a barn. some tips on how to kill faster/better and not die so easy would be apprieciated. im good with ground combat, just a bad aim for now...

Vehicles do not get better with rank. However, I have heard that depending on where the missile hits it can do more damage. Also, on occasion the health bar does not always accurately reflect your health status. I would recommend that if you survive a fight you pick up a health pack just to be safe. Moving erratically and doing zig-zag also works well. This works for aircraft, jeeps, and soldering. As far as tanks go, it is helpful to have a second person, because tanks are not as successful in performing evasive actions.

Just practice.

Air combat takes a lot of practice to get somewhat decent. In time, you'll learn how to use your weapon combos better.

For instance, you can hit another plane with 5-6 swarm missiles and he could still be flying.

However, one homing missile and some MG or a swarm and he's gone.

Evading is done through various methods. Some might be:

1. Use flak properly.

2. Use controls the out-maneuver missiles. Swarm are the easiest to do this.

3. Pay attention to turret jockeys and learn how to not let them lock on.

4. Use the terrain to break the path of rockets from RL and possible other missiles.

5. Learn to maneuver, so your air enemy can't lock on the homing missile to you.

6. Use the stealth feature if you have it--before you get missile lock.

In the end, it just takes practice. I think I have somewhere around 60-70 hours of flying time now.

Also, don't get discouraged. Sometimes it's just very hard to fly--even if experienced.

For those just learning, keep an eye out for times when your team has air superiority (either much better numbers or better pilots). Those are great times to learn.

Flak guns will be darn near useless against the new dropships.

The expansion is coming either this Thursday (unlikely) or next Thursday since Sony has stated it would be out before Christmas.

I'm done buying new PS3 games btw... I'll get a new one (CoD4) be completely obsessed with it for a few days... then find myself playing Warhawk again.

Hopefully GTA4 gets me off the game... sh*t's like crack.

I saw that sorry man... I took up a good sniper position on the Island Outpost and had a nice 8 kill, 0 death streak before a WH took me out

I was on the roof trying to Teamkill Copy (hard to do when you can't lock on) and went into the building (Copywriter said something like, "Run down the hole little rabbit." . . . very serial killer like) - only to find Blupassion throwing grenades at me. We had a good little grenade battle going, when I stepped outside and got some health to go finish him off - only to be blasted by Copy in a Warhawk.

I have finally confirmed it - I hate you both.

oo, i had another question. it is possible to switch teams/colors? the red peeps stuff looks way better imo.

the higher rank you get the more options you have to change uniform colors and in the options you can select what team you prefer to be on.

yeah, i saw you run and get the health and i just like 'OH CRAP' i almost had you. but watching Copy come up and blast you to pieces was extremely satisfying!! Thanks Copy!!!

No worries thou. I was taking shots at Copy too in the WH. i cant compete with him in that arena. total pwnage....

its all good. atleast one of us was being a successful sniper. i was too busy just trying to connect for longer than 5 minutes and then just getting on the correct team. One of the F-15 guys noticed i was on his team and hushed them all cuz i was listening. Def not intentionally thou, i just couldnt switch. it wouldnt let me!!!
