HA! Dudes, it's not a matter of how much someone supports Blu-Ray! Do I trust Bill Hunt, a respected straight shooter, or do I trust some random unknown ******* who enjoys manipulating me (REGARDLESS of whether it's true)?

If we get a few of these or these from penton tonight, then I think we may be on to something here

all im saying is he is a blu-ray supporter. he has no ties to sony, fox, disney, or he would never speak well of hd dvd. he has no inside info like penton or paid. im not saying i don't have the utmost respect for b. hunt.

I certainly hope this is true.

But, as many have said, I'll believe it when I see it.

Can we use our brains please? He would not have responded at ALL if the above scenario were happening! Bill Hunt would DEFINATELY not flat out lie to the poor guy! He just wouldn't have responded at all. People, people, people....

Haven't you guys heard, Warner are softening up HD-DVD owners for a 2008 switch to Blu-ray.

It's a well know tactic in politics!

It makes you think... he makes a post today and says that it's for tomorrow. Usually, when these threads get made, we get a "in a couple weeks/months", blah blah blah...

Too bad I'll be at school, but I'll try to get to a computer to check it out.

Hell, if nothing else, it's worth watching rdjam's bloodpressure hit the roof:

That posting is designed to get some morons writing about a possible Warner switch to BD, without any evidence at all.

There are some BD-biased journalists that watch blu-ray.com and print almost anything that is said there.

By getting a story like this into credible magazines and papers, the BD camp hope to create enough fear, uncertainty and doubt to SLOW DOWN the HD DVD hardware and software sales.

I am certain that this is nothing but a false campaign to try to get a story printed somewhere.

HOWEVER - HERE is what HD DVD supporters should do:

(1) Look out for any respectable websites or newspapers that carry this false rumour.

(2) Report them to me at campaignhd @t gmail d0t com

(3) write to the media, complaining of what journalist and/or editor would publish such false information on the basis of a "rumour" poster, without verifying ANY of the information, or even waiting for "10am" to hear the supposed announcement.

I think the post there has been made almost entirely to create false reports in mainstream media by bd-biased reporters, to attempt to create FUD in buyers and slow down HD DVD's momentum.
campaignhd scares the hell out of me - not.

If it's a hoax, it would be much funnier if he had posted a similar message at the same time at AVS.

somebody at hdd wrote this. its so true.

I really don't know what to say if this is legit then it's the best news of the year. If it's not why would to OP do it? Maybe he's from AVS or the HD-DUD forums and this is just to get a laugh after our performance yesterday with the Fantastic Four thing. We all want to believe you and hope you're right. Time will tell.

That is always fun.

Didn't you know that campaignhd is the HD police?

BTW, be sure to report it to the blu-crew too! If any of you are not aware, check out http://www.blu-crew.com/ - be enabled to support your choices just as campaignhd tries to limit them.
