Warner Going Blu-ray Exclusive (Rumor)

Well, I finally read through all 43 pages. Too much reading. My first thought was that this info was false, but now I'm at about 60/40 that this might be true. Regardless of what I think, I would like to make a few points.

1. I don't see why people are calling this guy a HD-Fudder, how does this hurt us in any way? Either way we still buy Warner Blu-rays tomorrow and in the future.

2. Maybe Warner is not going exclusive tomorrow, maybe this was someone at Warner testing the waters to see what people's reaction would be to this news. Maybe this will influence their future decisions.

3. What if Warner knows what is going on at Universal, and has decided that the smart choice will be to to join the side that has the support of too many companies for me to name here. It's been said before but Warner in no way would lose if they continued to sell planned HD-DVDs until Christmas even after announcing Blu-ray exclusivity.

Those are my 3 cents.

That's why someone earlier made the comment that it could be a BD-Fudder. But we will probably not know until tomorrow.

well if this is BD FUD it's heck of alot better then HD-DVD FUD, this thread has HD-DVD fanboys shaking in thier boots, but I'm hoping and praying this turns out to be true!

This thread has to be killing the mods/owners here. It's a huge thread, based on a single unsubstantiated rumor, and it is being linked to from a huge number of other sites. Do you let it continue? Close it? I'm guessing that a mod probably edited the thread title to add "(Rumor)".

Yup, you guessed correct, they edited it. Also there has been at least 32,867 hits on this thread.
