or even a big discount that makes something like a 4k copy cost $2-5.. anything would be nice.. sort of lost the buzz with them as the surveys get repetitive and boring..

Is there a reason why WB couldn't do a movie bundle through Movies Anywhere like they did with Flixster? Maybe they are abandoning the A-List project altogether; I've noticed that the frequency of surveys has diminished considerably compared to years past, and the A-List portal has almost no content now.

Eh, it was fun while it lasted, but I'm done filling out their tedious surveys. This mouse isn't running any more mazes without a taste of cheese.

I was invited by WB to take part in a survey last night. "Tedious" is right. Just when I thought I had completed the last section of questions, here came a new subset of the survey. I must have been answering questions for about 25 minutes.

If there isn't going to be some sort of annual gift, WB may have to consider some sort of points-for-participation system or I predict their number of completed surveys may plummet.

They originally had that. You would get points for surveys and they said they would be for use in the future, but eventually they just got rid of the points and all the points in my account disappeared.

Pretty disappointed that there is no gift after all the time spent on surveys over the past year.

Make sure to let them know how disappointed we are and that there is no longer even any incentive to take part anymore.

Email them, and/or just comment about it in every single survey you get from now on.

I had replied to the Seasons Greeting email and it opened a support ticket. Last update I got was on 12/27, saying they were forwarding to the A-List team.

WB sent me a survey this morning, and this is the note I sent to them.

Unlike previous years, WB didn't send a package of digital films to A-List members at the end of 2017. Without some sort of tangible reward, there is no incentive to fill out your surveys. I spent a lot of time over the past year filling out every survey that you sent to me, and I am extremely disappointed to see that my efforts went unappreciated. I hope you will rectify this oversight. Thank you.

I don't mean to be "that" person, but many of you guys are acting rather entitled here. They never promised a gift for signing up, and completing surveys. You signed up to help contribute and shape the industry in what little way you could. I signed up ages ago, well before they even started these digital gifts. I didn't expect anything. It used to be invite only back then. Now all of sudden we have people signing up purely just to get free movies. Do the surveys, and participate in the community if you want to contribute, don't do it expecting a payout, that's not how this works.

Also, I'm willing to bet some of the ones complaining haven't even done a single survey for the entire year. I know many people last year admitted to not having done any, and still got a reward. Perhaps it's even this lack of participation by many such freeloaders that hurt the incentives for those that were very active. They obviously have the data on their side seeing the ratio of members to the amount of data they got back in return.

I don't think I'm entitled but I do value my time. I probably did 40% of the surveys throughout the year and they took maybe a cumulative 3-5 hours. I found most of them tedious and uninteresting. Uninteresting and unrewarded means I'm unparticipating. And that's OK.

As far as freeloading, they don't have to send gifts to non-contributors. Surely they know from click-tracking who is contributing. Problem solved.

BTW, I never redeemed my gift from last holiday. It verifies at Movies Anywhere. So they could probably have issued one this year had they chosen to.

I’ve also been signed up for a long time, before they started sending out the rewards. However, after 4 or 5 years straight of getting a reward at the end of the year, you kind of assume one is coming. I’ve done pretty much every survey they’ve sent, though I skipped some of the pilot ones because I didn’t have time in one sitting to watch an hour of tiny video and then answer questions.

I'm not filling out a single survey again unless there's an incentive.

Nothing to do with entitlement, I miss the days of points and redeeming them for whatever in their shop.

Thank you for your patience. Unfortunately, we experienced some technical issues at the end of the year so the gift could not make it to you in time for the holidays. We are working on the issue and your appreciation gift will be coming soon. Look out for it in your inbox some time in February.

We sincerely value your continued participation in the Warner Bros. A-List Community.
