It is sad that they would think it is funny, and that they think spreading lies and rumors just to watch people get upset is childish. If they wanted to get people upset there are better ways to do it anyways.
AVS is a sad, pathetic group of characters, and I don't think its worth getting concerned or upset over, since they act so immature.

We all doubt this "announcement" will happen, and there is a lot of evidence that nothing will happen at all. SAOCD is a new member too, with no other posts, so it is likely they are all lies.

But who cares. The forum is not about lynching HD-DVD fanboys who spread vicious rumors, its about supporting our format. HD-DVD already shows that the only thing they know how to do is try to tear down the other formats and laugh at them, they have nothing to show from their own format since it is so pathetically out-of-date. Just ignore it. If anything happens in 40 minutes, everyone will find out, till then just stop posting!

I really don't think this announcement is going to happen. I'm a blu-ray supporter but the hd-dvd people are laughing their arses off at all this. They are about to do a GAME-SET-MATCH on you guys that are freaking out over this. I think everyone should just laugh this off and let things run their course instead of being "Hopeful Henry's". It's lame...
