Yeah, I know. We've done a couple rounds already. I'm just baffled that his arguments all seem to stem from a denial that the format's specifications even exist. It's like saying Michael Jordan was mediocre at basketball because he never scored more than 6 points a game.

I do, but by the time that comes out I bet your equipment now won't work with them, and it will be a new DV standard by then.

The fee schedule is different, but there is still a fee associated with HDR10+.

Only HDR10 is royalty free.

There has been much discussion that HDR10+ is indeed inferior if you peek under the hood.

All the bars on my widescreen VHS tapes were black with 0% input lag also.

You still can't move beyond a few pieces of 2016 equipment that don't process DV flawlessly?

I'm going to let you in on a little industry secret: the only home entertainment formats that have never seen a couple of glitchy pieces of equipment are the formats that never made it to market at all.
