She could be like me. Not a plant person. I'd rather plant annuals and then don't have to worry about them anymore. They come back every year.

My grandmother loved plants. Had them everywhere. My mom still enjoys hers, but since she's ill we do majority of the watering. I figure at some point down the road, I'll give her plants to family who'll take proper care of them.

Well to me, plants are basically going outside into the hot sun where there's bugs and skin cancer and getting dirty and wet just to keep plants alive. I just don't see the appeal to doing more than a lawn (maybe) and some vegetables to eat.

you gotta love a plane that's so fast, their standard procedure when fired upon is to increase speed to outrun the missile.....lol.

Been up since 3:45 since I ran early this morning. Definitely time for bed. Going to say it at least once more, SO glad we have an extra day off this week. Hopefully BIL will behave when his family visits on Wednesday.

Just heated some Maruchan chicken-flavored noodles. Going to eat and then fill out a couple customs forms and get three packages ready for shipping tomorrow. After that, will probably call it a night unless I chat anymore with anyone.

I enjoy watching that kind of film too. My dad was a pilot in WWII so I grew up with a love of aircraft.

The SR71 was quite simply badass. Nothing then could touch it. Wish I could have ever gotten to see one in action. Been to the Air Force Museum in Dayton, OH, and they have one there...small plane, really.

As for what I'm doing? Working.

if they ever build the 72, the 71 will almost look slow in comparison.

mach 3.3 (2531.99 mph) vs mach 6 (4603.61 mph)

that's like going from LA to Hong Kong in about an hour-and-a-half. just......damn!

plus, according to the data, it can be "optionally" manned; which means it's originally intended to be unmanned. as well, it would have strike capabilities, not just reconnaissance. and if it's going full speed when it fires a missile, that means it would be long gone before the missile even hits its target.

Just had lunch at Straw Hat where I watched a little bit of tennis and a great match between Japan and Belgium. Now doing a Best Buy customer service chat to reorder the Weeds Complete Collection since the first one arrived with some damage
