Had a terrible couple of days. Mom was in the ER. Her heart was acting up in all sorts of crazy ways. After talking to about six doctors, she was diagnosed with sick sinus syndrome.

She's home now and hospice starts coming out tomorrow. She's scared, but I think it's a relief at the same time. She's more engaged than she has been for some time. Talking about these things have helped us come to terms.

Taking it one day at a time.

hope all's well with her...considering...

it's always hard to have to put someone in hospice care. i know when my aunt had to go into assisted living, my cousin...grown man, retired cop, big, strong guy...cried like a baby 'cause he realized he couldn't take care of her anymore since she needed almost 24-hour care.

it's always hardest on family...but it's what we do FOR family.

Thinking about purchasing a water bottle but first I think it would be smart to do some extensive research and possibly even some testing

Got a very late start thanks to the Lady who insisted on going shopping yesterday afternoon, just pulled into Denny's for some late night dinner/breakfast. I think we're going to eat something then lay the backseat down and take a nap (She wants to get a hotel room for the night)- I've been up since 2am yesterday (nonstop) and She doesn't want to drive this trip. I keep telling her we're on a serious time constraint and I'm too cheap to pay for a room for simply a few hours.

getting ready to grab some lunch. We're having our yearly old town fest this weekend, and there's a vendor who makes a killer Lángos so I'm having some of that.

Stopped to use the bathroom and get a cup of coffee, we're about 10 minutes from her mom's house. Despite working all freaking day yesterday I couldn't fall asleep in the back of the Jeep (maybe I should've listened to her and got a hotel room for a few hours) so I decided to just keep driving. Find it odd that most mapping sites estimate 10-11 hours but I've been driving it in around 8 hours and I haven't done more than 5 mph over the speed limit.

Stepped outside for some air and to give my fiancee and her sister some space. They've been b1tch1ng and moaning ever since we got here, I swear I'm very close to getting in the Jeep and heading home without her at this point.

Finishing up Chapter 1 Revel work for C EP 110. About to eat early dinner and brush my teeth before work and then try to get the rest of Chapter 1 Revel done.

Sitting at TGIFridays, alone, in a strange city, having a sub-par burger and drinking some piss-warm beer. Seriously does anyone in North Carolina drink their beer cold? Last weekend we went a Texas Roadhouse for dinner and my beer was piss warm there too. I shouldn't be expected to pay for this crap right?

Nope, everyone deserves ice cold beer. Complain about the burger too and get a new meal or a refund.

I complained to the bartender about the beer temp being too high, he told me to tell the manager so I did, and he comped it for me Unfortunately the burger wasn't necessarily 'bad' but for $10, it could've been a lot better.

At least you got comped for the beer.

Finished Revel apparently, grade of 70%, definitely could've been better. Going to watch a bit more Fresh off the Boat before work. Want to review more of what I have to do for the Philosophy paper I have due tomorrow before bed.

he had you tell a manager about a warm beer? jeez! just replace the beer and make sure it's cold. you (not YOU, personally) don't need to get a manager every single time something has to get done. just replace the beer and be done with it.

Yeah, but make sure you don't go there again cause they'll spit in your food.

I certainly do, but Infinity Wars was just way too space-y for me and the CGI just kinda took me out of the movie.
