the company i worked for had contracts with over 1200 schools (middle/high schools, universities, technical institutes) and companies. the biggest challenge for those of that were proctors was knowing all the rules of each one. some allowed test takers to use books/notes, where others didn't allow anything at all. and it never failed that someone thought they were being slick and would try to cheat, but they'd get caught. there was even a few people who were banned from using the service because they got caught cheating so much. and they were forced to do a live proctored session where they would have to sit in a room with another person who would just sit there and watch them, live, to make sure they didn't cheat. also, there was one case where a girl was kicked out of school for doing it so much.

we'd get death threats and bomb threats so much from people who got caught cheating. and when they'd fail their exam, for something they did, they would say it was our fault. most of the time it was people just being idiotic and saying shit they didn't really mean. but each time they did, the school would be notified and they'd open an investigation that involved the police. i'm obviously not saying you're like that. just offering some info from someone who worked in that business for a few years.
Yikes! I can't believe people over-react like that. If you're breaking the rules, especially in a situation where you know you're being monitored and you get caught, you have to be willing to live with the consequences.

I'd much rather take an exam in person, in class, and not be watched through a webcam.

That's like invasive privacy right there. And extremely uncomfortable. Only makes me all the more anxious and possibly forget things when taking the exam.

Not to mention, the timer counting down doesn't help either. I don't want to be rushed through 50 questions with 45 minutes to do it.

I have sourced Blu Rays for him and he's going to help get me some Coq Oh, and he lives in the town or Rauris, Austria and this is Rauris

I finally found a decent chicken parm place by my job.

I bought a garbage slice with onion rings and the freakin kitchen sink on it...it doesn't really taste like anyting

I'm definitely going back.

yeah, that timer was a big complaint for most people.

sometimes, you could continue the exam after the timer hit zero, with no punishment or anything (which made me question why the timer was there, at all). other times, it would automatically submit whatever you'd answered and that would be it. but, most timers were set at 2 hours. anything less was usually for an exam/test that was pretty short; maybe 20 questions or so. and there were a few institutions that didn't use the timers. the students could take as long as they needed.

also, one thing we noticed a lot...was the number of people who did really poorly on nursing exams. and i always made the comment, "i hope i don't get sick and they're the ones who have to treat me." and when i say poorly, i mean they'd get like a 20/100....which is failing miserably. hell, i've seen people get to use their notes and books and STILL fail the damn test. don't know how that happens, but it happens.

It just seems like such a fairytale type place. He sent me a link for the bank he works at and I'd say it's facade is pretty awesome. Apparently the tower next to his bank is 500 years old. I looked at his town on the map and I was only about an hour or so drive from him when I was there in 2015 but of course I didn't know him at the time. He did help me place the order so quite happy about that. He helped me get these

Nice!!! I'd get that in black as well, or Sapphire blue (birthstone color).

Shit be like Minority Report.

I have to show photo identification, have a facial scan to monitor my eye movements, and there's a live person watching me while I test.

They have control of my laptop as well.

And I have to rotate my webcam so that they can observe my room for any materials which I could use for cheating.
I took a few courses online through Straighterline, and that's how EVERY final exam was done. Talk about nerve-wrecking. I felt I did worse on the tests. After doing this a few times, I left and went to a different school. If I could go back to being 18, I'd would be back at the local community college and working on transferring into the University, but after all my f'ups, online is my only option right now (and it's not technically a bad one, either.

I never had issues with the proctors or service, I just felt like it added an unnecessary amount of stress to the exam knowing someone was watching you at all times. I've heard stories of people getting their exams shutdown because of suspicions, some of them funny (like the lady who apparently got her exam shut down because the proctor thought someone was talking quietly to her but it was actually her husband's muffled voice screaming at the Xbox in the other room).

The school I'm at now doesn't utilize the proctor service. The "finals" are basically reports or projects you put together during the course of the term. Some courses I've found challenging while others were a little too easy. I guess that's what happens with online schools.

I still can't get over how many things I want from their page. The jacket and shoes were on sale so that was nice. There are other things I wanted but held off on for now. Some of the items aren't on sale yet so I'll wait and see if they drop. I could go on and on and post more pics but I won't right now. This is the same jacket and hell, I'd take all three

and some Criminal Minds reruns with the Girl this morning. My brother stayed over last night, so we ended up playing video games til 8am - so I still haven't been to bed. Debating on going to take a nap or doing some of the many chores around the apartment that need to be done (got two hampers full of dirty laundry, a sink of dirty dishes and some bills to pay).

Just finished a 2 hour intense spin session with the girl, my legs feel like jello right now. Gonna finish this recovery shake and take a shower, so that my Girl and I can figure out what we're gonna do tonight.

Doing some house chores I neglected to do the past two days and watching Jumanji on TBS, such a classic film, Robin Williams was a Godsend - RIP.

I "temporarily" quit playing Bayonetta due to the insane difficulty.
