WEDNESDAY:

FINALLY my direct deposit kicked in at my other job!!!

It's always so awkward if you go to a retail gig just to pick up a check because there is always that one random manager who has nothing to do with your department who is like "How you doin? Can you work? Can you help out tonight?" Ugh...thank you thank you thank you GOD.

Anyway...gotta go make a list of photography equipment for my real job.

Sitting in the ER with the kid as she's having a bad reaction to the corona vaccine. I should've trusted my instinct and waited before getting her vaccinated! The odds of this happening was slim they said so don't let this situation deter anyone from getting vaccinated.

Finishing up this week's Child Abuse 2 76 minute video before bed. Watching a 76 minute is definitely less than I probably should've done as far as schoolwork goes for today but at least it's something.

I ordered three 12 TB WD Red hard drives. They're supposed to arrive Friday. I'm gonna build a NAS out of my old computer. I will finally start backing up the bulk of my Blu-ray and DVD collection.

I finished ripping, remuxing and naming Aeon Flux an hour ago. Now I am working on my Seinfeld DVDs. I have only finished one disc so far and have found a special feature they forgot to actually make available anywhere in the menus, a three minute camera and lighting test dubbed by the director and production designer of the pilot. I have such an urge to rewatch these shows as I work on them.

I will be listening to music for days as I do this. Right now I'm listening to Siouxsie and the Banshees' album Upside Down, which has their B-sides and rarities. I was introduced to the band two years ago by Batman Returns. Never heard most of these songs, though.

Just waking up after being up half the night with the kid, her fever finally went down so now she's on a road to recovery. Drinking coffee and fixing cinnamon rolls then I'll be going to get some more empty moving boxes.

Just got back from taking my parents to get vaccinated at the VA. They're both in their upper 60s with existing medical conditions so they were both high risk. In and out in less than 20minutes, a much smoother transition than the public vaccination site I took my daughter to yesterday.
