Just heard the news about Chris Cornell's passing and am FLOORED. I just saw them 2 effing weeks ago.

Chris Cornell, the powerful, dynamic singer whose band Soundgarden was one of the architects of grunge music, has died at 52.

Mr. Cornell died Wednesday night in Detroit, said his representative, Brian Bumbery, in a statement that called the death “sudden and unexpected” and that said the singer’s family would be “working closely with the medical examiner to determine the cause.”

EDIT: Now they're saying possible suicide.

I thought it did. I was talking to a new friend the other day and he was saying how you look East from Denver and it's all plains and you look to the West and it's mountains.
Have you been to Durango? I went to visit a girl that was going to school there so it wasn't a normal vacation filled with sightseeing. Unfortunately, I didn't see ANY peaks while I was there It looks like a beautiful state though and I'd love to explore the Rockies someday.

I have not. I really haven't been south of Castle Rock before and I lived here my whole life.

Reading another article about a possible tour guide/serial killer in Panama. Apparently the remains (bone fragments) of two Dutch women were found in the jungle and no one knows exactly what happened to them. According to the article on MSN, it sounds like there is talk about this guide on the TripAdvisor boards so I'm going to see if any of the threads mention this case and how he might be related to their deaths.
