On a serious note watch out i had a cough a few weeks ago that turned into one of the worst colds i have ever had, literally felt like i was breathing through a coffee straw. Took a 50 dollar trip to the doctors almost a week out of work and a z-pack to get better.

I am counting the minutes until the end of the day, and there are a lot of minutes to go... Tonight, I will be finishing installing and hooking up my new receiver and surround system, and then hopefully diving into Star Wars! I'll have to take some pics and update my gallery, maybe I'll get that done this weekend.

It's nothing spectacular, but I actually won the system through a promotion at work, so I got it for FREE.

It is the new Yamaha YHT-595 system (with the RX-V471 receiver). It's not a bad little receiver, and will certainly get me up and running. I'm already thinking about what speakers I'll have to pick up to replace the Yammy's but it's pretty sweet, especially since it was free! It should work rather nicely in my small theater room.

Last night I made some customer speaker cables, and put together my speaker stands, tonight I just have to finish wiring, and then begin the calibration process. I have been waiting to watch Star Wars until I could get it all hooked up.

Oh, John! I don't think I mentioned to you either, but I received a Mini Marquee from Blu-Ray.com's very own Brettallica! It is awesome! So I have a few new home theater toys.
