got out of the shower a little bit ago. i did some work out in my shop earlier and got nice and sweaty.

i didn't start any yard work due to the threat of rain. and sure enough it started raining just after i came in the house after i was done. had i been working in the yard, i'd have stayed out much longer and would've gotten caught in the rain in the middle of whatever i was doing.

Hangin out at my folks' house for a bbq&brew. Little reunion here, fun... kid's really tired so guess we won't be staying too late.

i'll be doing sort of the same next sunday. it's my nephew's first birthday and we're all getting together at my sister's house. apparently my niece has invited a LOT of people.

I'm trying to find objective Red Sparrow reviews because I'm not sure if I want to blind buy it just for the cover art on Tuesday.

Did anybody here see it? Is it as pointlessly brutal as some people seem to think?

Is it cool...is it slow?

Red Sparrow? Is that the Scarlett Johansson movie about a female Russian assassin who becomes an Avenger? Sounds like a rental.

Feeling my age. Hit the yard and tackled a area of high brush with my mower because I couldn't get the weed eater to fire up. I think I'm frustrating my wife with concentrating on the yard being a trailer gets here in 10 days, but I only need to hit one more area to wrap it up. Going to see how I feel and if I can get to anything. Otherwise I'm hitting the family room or my tote project while they finish up school work.

Day off today but still had to get up early. Have an oil change appointment at 11am. After that probably get some Taco John's and maybe a smoothie at DQ, come home and watch last night's American Idol which I forgot to DVR because I was at work from 8am-8:30pm yesterday, then try to get some sleep before tonight's American Idol finale.

Lazy day today.
