Making slime with my youngest. While at Walmart getting the slime supplies, I was pushing the cart with the kid walking in front. There was an older gent kind of meandering and my kid goes, "dad! Watch out for the old guy!"

He laughed and said, I'm not that old. Lol. Now it's slime time.

Just woke up at almost the perfect time despite no loud alarm. Time to fix breakfast and gear up to run 26.2 with my sister in Minneapolis.

Coffee and horror movies. what a great way to spend a autumn Sunday morning! Planning on heading over to my father's garage to work on my truck later today assuming it doesn't rain. I miss not having my own shop to work in.

Sitting here chilling and playing catch up in the forum. Ordered the new washer and dryer. So now I’m trying to muster up enough energy to get cleaned up on this lazy Sunday. Here’s some pics of a bunch of WB and a Disney Store prints we hung on the wall yesterday. Now it looks like we’re going to put up a few things in the sunroom in a bit. Speaking of which.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to mount this helm wheel on a wall? It is heavy and the square is about 1”. So I know I need to find the stud to make sure whatever I use will hold the weight and looks like it belongs. My wife’s idea is to make it look like the sun in the corner of the room if possible.

do you possibly have a larger picture of the wheel? like of the whole thing, not just the center?

ot: been out in the shop breaking down some pallets for future projects. then i cleaned up the shop a bit...it was getting a bit "barn-looking" in there with all the sawdust and wood chips on the floor.

Browsing the net and doing early Christmas shopping. Marking down gifts I want to pick up, and watching them over the jext couple months for sales. Should be a really fun Christmas this year!

Sorry, had to resize the picture to save as an attachment. My MiL kind of ****ed things up on that wall with two big ass pictures. So we’ve lowered where we’re putting it on the wall to center it with the window frame.

easiest way to hang it is to use the center hole. that way you can turn it to any position you want. i'd definitely use something made out of metal. and if you can't get it in a stud, you can use a butterfly anchor...

it's made of wrought iron and should handle the weight. also, look at home dept, lowe's, etc. for something similar if you wanna buy locally.

Thanks sk33tr. We’ve found the stud on the wall and looking for something that is square and will slide right into the slot and then be covered up to lock it in place. The Mrs wants to go into Lowe’s or HD on Tuesday. I’d like to swing by a boat shop to match what I saw online.

I didn’t realize that today was a holiday ‘til my wife mentioned it.
I’m in early on ot and with the holiday, I’m gonna make some nice bank today. Even if shit happens to go sideways, which is rare, I’ll probably be smiling all day.

Off today, thanks Columbus! Because I'm off from the bank, I also requested to be off from Lowe's tonight to get a full day off.

I only had one thing to do today and that was to take my son to his eye specialist. So, we did that, did some brief shopping at a different Lowe's, and now home. Fed him and he's now taking his nap (so I hope). I've been in a cleaning mood, so working on various things around the house.
