Barreling through a bunch of assignments that are due next week or the week after. Want to be as done with classes as possible after next week's Thanksgiving break is over. That way if work and/or volunteering resume, I will be able to stress far less about school. Plus I am severely burnt out from work, marathon training, school and volunteering so I would like to relax as much as possible during this break. Not working is definitely helping me recharge but will hurt my finances if I don't get back to work soon. Already having to minimize purchases to only things I need.

been in the shop working on my new work bench w/storage. i got the carcass made and assembled. i also got the top mostly done; i just need to get a piece of hardboard and cut it to fit. but that stuff's cheap so it won't be difficult.

i started working on the drawers and got one almost completed. i have enough wood to make the front, back, and sides for 2 more drawers; so that means i'll need enough wood for 5 more drawers. plus, i need some wood for the bottoms. but with the prices of wood, lately, there's no telling when i'll be able to do that. so far, i have no money in it, whatsoever. all the wood i've gotten for it i got for free from work.

then comes the full extension drawers slides. that's the most expensive part at ~$140 total for those.

I'm helping out today and this Dasher who I've seen several times came to pick up. I ended up asking her her name and if she was married and she said yes but based on how she acted and with the handshake, I wonder if she might have misunderstood "are you married" as "would you like to have my babies?"

3-Day work week!!!

Survivor Series was just ok as usual. It's too bad the Undertaker came out for his final farewell in an empty arena.

In theory...this should be an easy breezy week.

Dunno what’s wrong with me, it’s not terribly cold yet. It was -23C (-9F) and will be twice that in a month or less.

Coffee and catching up on some YouTube subs. Didn't get home until after 11:30 last night after working 12+hrs, I freaking hate living in the rust belt! A simple brake job with a book time of two hours ended up took me 3x as long.

Monday morning interview for a rehab tech job, would be happy if I got it. Both for the raise and the (hopefully) permanent move out of food service.

Age plays a big part in this too. I grew up in northern NY near the Canadian border maybe not as cold as where you are but below freezing as early as Sept and even snow in August wasn't uncommon sometimes. I used to be comfortable in shorts and long sleeve tees down to 0F now I get cold when the temps are in the 40s. Im also pretty certain my fingers got frostbite as a teenager so my hands get cold rather quickly even at 50F. I'm only in my mid 30s though sadly enough, Lord knows how my body will react to the cold in my 50s+.


Ot: Getting ready to work 10hrs of over time, then to my pop's shop to finally change my oil and rotate my tires. All on about two hours of sleep, yay!
