eating a couple sandwiches on home-made bread. MUCH better than store-bought. even though i buy good bread, nothing beats home-made.

changed the oil in my truck

measured, cut, and stained a new handrail for the stairs going down in the den. i got a couple coats on it. tomorrow, i'll stain the bottom of it, then put a clear coat on it, and install it.

and oatmeal. Getting my camping & fishing crap together to spend an overnighter up at the lake, its gonna be a cold one tonight(windchill -20F).

Finally got the table mic that came with my new hearing aids to work, currently using it to basically stream the volume from the TV directly into my units. Definitely a unique experience, makes it feel like I'm inside the show lol.

i had oatmeal for breakfast, as well.

earlier i got a couple coats of clear on the handrail. i started on a project for my oldest niece (don't know if i'll finish it, damn thing is a bit of a bear to put together). i also got some of the old flower pots cleaned out. and i mulched some leaves with the lawnmower and my neighbor got them up with his riding mower (he offered, and i wasn't about to turn down the help, lol).

Researching houses in Kentucky and drinking some coffee. We're running out of time as my Love starts her new job on Feb 1st, I still have a ton of things to wrap up here in NY and I haven't put in my transfer request at work yet. I've been told transfers could take up to 6months to be approved.

Currently have 2 plans for leaving town for the first time since last February. Going to go to the 1:45 Wonder Woman and then get a massage in El Paso down the street from that theatre. Have some lingering right hamstring issue, hoping the massage will work that right out.

I've gotten 3 splinters in my fingers recently, they all worked their way out on their own.
