We Blue Jay fans have lucked out that Rogers, who own the Blue Jays, also own Sportsnet, our biggest sports channels, so we get every Jays game.
Rogers also has an arena deal with the Oilers and a deal with the NHL so I’m able to watch every game
I only have to buy DAZN in the fall for 49ERS games.

Are you able to get MLB Extra Innings? That carries all the games, right?
Hopefully it’s not too expensive and available for you.

It's great if you're in a different area of the team you root for, but I'm dead center of the OC/LA market area, so I wouldn't be able to get Angels games (or Dodgers, and I think they restrict the San Diego Padres here too if you can believe that).

I actually forgot Rogers owned the Blue Jays. I swear I knew that at one point in time.

My cell phone plan is done with Bell and I’ll be switching to Rogers because they support sports here and two of the teams that I cheer for.
It sounds silly but I gotta support those who do well by me.

It’s shitty how you can’t watch your Team.

Both cable and satellite would give me my team.

The problem with cable is they give a promo rate for 1 or 2 years, usually a triple play of cable internet + tv + landline phone (lol), and then after the promo ends you're paying probably $150+ a month for a package with the Bally/Fox Sports West and Spectrum Sportsnet. If you cancel, you cancel the package of your cable internet too. We're currently on a $50 a month promo Spectrum cable internet which will eventually go back up to $70 a month.

Satellite also has a promo rate problem though it isn't tied to your cable internet.

I'd probably do it if I felt more comfortable spending that much. As it is I'm probably dropping Sling after August (grandfathered in at $30 a month for the ESPN package with 1-stream...) which is the end of the NBA playoffs.

late edit: actually, I looked up the prices for Spectrum, they must have dropped the price of the double play internet + tv, its a bit cheaper now...

I also have a lease signing appointment for my rental property up there. Of course the Lady is making me go by myself and handle it all. Come to think of it this whole move was her idea but after the house snafu I've been stuck doing everything on top of working. What do I see in her anyway.

Whereabouts in Kentucky are you? I'm new to the state, other than my fiancee and of course new co-workers I don't have a clue what there is to do. I'm an outdoorsy person, love to hike, camp and bushcraft which I've been told is big in KY but nobody's really hinted at some good places that isn't highly touristy.


OT: Sorting through boxes and about to load up the truck to take a few to my storage unit. Lease-signing of my rental property went smoothly, so glad to have that occupied finally.
