As I was typing, I was thinking about those Portuguese scenes. I think that segment might be my favorite. I like the contrast with the things he was saying and the things that she was saying.

I just finished watching Valkyrie. Watching that film might become a Christmas Day tradition for me after seeing it for the first time on its release day on Christmas of 2008. I saw that one with my mom and stepdad and it has become one of my favorite films.

Watching this YouTube video of this couple low-key wheeling near Telluride, Colorado. I'd really like to visit Colorado someday. I did go back in 2003 I think to visit this girl that was going to school in Durango. But the trip was to visit her and not to see the beautiful scenery.

I have a follow-up appointment with my GP doctor today. Odds are currently 50-50 whether I will make the appointment or just go to the ER. I’ve been having tachycardia recurring since I had surgery on the 20th. I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy; it’s dreadful when it happens. I literally feel like I’m dying, each and every time it comes on. It takes me hours of rest to recover from an episode. I have shtuff to do! Ain’t nobody got time for this! WTH?!

Have tomorrow and Monday off so came to Modesto after work. I got my second complimentary oil change. While the car was being worked on, I had them get me a Lyft, literally right down the road like two blocks, so I could stuff my fatass at Golden Corral. I did walk back though

I checked a local Target's movie selection (pitiful as to be expected these days) but I did get some discounted Christmas sweets. Chaaa-ching! And now I'm at Starbucks enjoying my venti Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino.

Watching the 2nd X-Files movie on Blu Ray (I Want To Believe) thinking its going to suck when they reboot the franchise no one did it better than Duchovny + Anderson together. Also hoping we get a 4k treatment of the 2 films, eventually.

Drinking some beer, wine and champaign to celebrate New Years Eve and channel surfing between the Vikings/Packers game on NBC & the New Years specials on CBS and ABC. I never go out on New Years any more because of drinking and driving, the cops are all over the place where I live looking to pick drivers off who have been drinking. It's not worth it.

Just finished FAMILY SWITCH (2023) on Netflix. Now I'm finishing off the Rose Parade and this cup of coffee then heading out to drop my rent check off at the leasing office and swing by the grocery store for some black eyed peas for some good luck in 2024 as well as some ingredients for my homestyle chicken soup tonight. I've been sicker than a dog for the last week so I spent the whole day in bed and self-medicated on NyQuil yesterday.
