My pills spilled all over the floor this morning. I thought I brushed them off but something was on one of them..probably a small hair.

and it triggered my gag reflex. That is not how you want to start you day!

Vacuumed the car out but it's a never-ending battle with Husky hair. Checked the cabin filter and it's surprisingly OK after winter. Usually the mice end up making a nest out of it.

Life of a single dad, day 29, I'm ready to retire - nobody told me how hard this was going to be. Work 3pm-1:30am, home to clean the house and do a load of laundry, and check her homework. Sleep for an hour, wake up to make sure she gets up in time for school - end up doing another load of laundry. Its an endless cycle. She's spending this upcoming weekend with her mom so maybe I can get my life straightened out, I'm still looking for a bigger apartment for us so we can spread out a bit but honestly in light of the abundance of chores and lack of sleep she's still the best "roommate" I've ever had.

I know this routine all too well....I am up at 4AM so I can be ready and able to wake up my 16 yr old son at 5:30AM (his alarm never wakes him up). Loads of laundry, work, cleaning and trips to the gym, etc.... Trips to my ex's house every other weekend for my son too. Throw in my son's high school hockey and I am beyond exhausted....just do what you can, when you can.

Almost forgot, I am engaged now too....so have to fit her in as well....all at the age of 57. Crazy.
