Why do you say that? I'm pretty sure you can post in here about your team as much as you want tob.

I'll do it for you. Arsenal sign Xhaka for £35M:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36378192

I don't know if you thought it would've been met with a snarky comment or whether it would just fuel our 'little club hates big club' mentality, but it is what it is tob. The world is full of the haves and have nots, you should celebrate the fact that you support a giant of the world game no matter what us peasants think. A big club buying a big player is business as usual.

It's a lot of money for one player. Having said that, Arsenal haven't spent the funds they probably should have over the last few years.

I agree with your points though Geoff, that's our entire budget until January apparently. It is frustrating. It's also the reason why the Leicester thing was a 'one off'.

Having said all that, if we had that money, I would be excited with a signing like that so Tob shouldn't be wary of posting it. We are a tribal lot. (Look at the emotions we have been though just this year) fallouts and envy are just part of football fans in general.

I think you lot are a good set of lads, let's not take things too personal.

Good buy Tob he will at some steel to your midfield but picks up some silly yellows, think Mahmoud Dahoud is the best midfielder gladbach have.

He has potential david but does not matter who Wenger brings in its time for change.

See who else he brings in, from the outside Arsenal imo need a top CB LB and a top striker seen Morata linked would love him at Liverpool.

But my point is no matter who the player is they will fail during the season under Wenger like this current squad who don't learn from past mistakes like Wenger.
This mentally has gone on far too long now where qualification for the Champions League is seen as success by him and the board and their is no evidence to show anything different in the future.
I have no expectations for next season and just hope this will be his last season in charge.

Happy with that signing, i watch the Bundesliga and it was between him and Timo Horn who i wanted. Speaks English which obviously helps. Times up for Mignolet decent shot stopper but that's about it cost us too many points this season with mistakes.

Do you think he be number 1 for next season instead of Mignolet.

He will be voted the second best GK in Germany just behind Neuer. Great coup by Newcastle getting Rafa to stay on wasn't it.

He had demands like full control on future transfers and so on but i am still surprised he went to Newcastle in the first place but i do think he get them back in the premier league again.

Championship is a tough league but i think he will get them up first time, the likes of Shelvey on 80k a week in the Championship is madness.

Can't believe they didn't insert a relegation clause in his contract regarding his wages.

But that will show you how the club is being run look at what they spent down the years on transfers and wages also the way they go through managers.

Agree on the transfers but they never had a manager of Rafa's class in recent years. last good manager they had was Bobby Robson.

I hope he does well at Newcastle.

Funny thing is though Steed the people who post in here are supporters of either the biggest clubs or the perennial strugglers, there's no perspective from the middle ground so it gets just as frustrating for no-one in particular to hear about our woes just as our hearts don't bleed at the pain of finishing inside the top four every season.

Just look at what happened to Pizza: from relegation battlers to ¡Campiones! in the space of one season, there was no gradual ascent to the top, just BOOM: from zeros to heroes in the space of 12 months. See? No middle ground. We need some supporters of the likes of Stoke or West Ham or Southampton to give us all some perspective, I think.

Stop bringing my name in your posts you still didn't get our discussion in the past and now you are misleading people and turning it into big club vs small club battle which it is not about.
I would like to see more fans from the likes of Stoke and West Ham so on but i think after a while you go off in a different route about them and the issues they have as a club.
