Yes he wants to control everything,why wouldn't he?he has to be the absolute main man,I think Moyes shrank when he saw what he had to take control over.

Look,van Gaal won't do that,he has been round the block and been in charge of Bayern and Barca,not Preston and Everton.

Are you's two drinking or smoking too much?the manager doesn't chase the players he wants,he only tells the club the ones he's after so even though LvG won't be there until to July are you's two actually telling me that we can't buy anyone until then because I'm slowly but surely pissing myself here.

You are missing my point you said why didn't united do any business yet and i said the reason why is because the man's character is what he says goes and i think that United are waiting until he is finish with the world cup that he will get straight to work, starting with who to bring in and who to let go from the club.

Be honest VH. Do you really believe "top quality" players are going to want to come to Man Utd at this moment in time?

No European Football for the first time in 20+ years, which I might add will cost the club in the region of £30 million...and that is the main factor with the players you have been linked with...they all want to be playing Champions League Football...they want to play against the best in the world, and because of the extremely poor season you lot have just had, they now know it's going to be at least another season before the big European Nights return to OT.

Having LvG on board as manager doesn't instantly mean the world's best will be longing for a move to Man Utd, even if they are players that have previously worked under him....No European Football = No Top Draw signings. Simple as.

Wes it's Man Utd,now I am not off my head here but that club had massive draw in the eighties when they won damn all...our club is based on support of great values more than I think than there is anywhere...I know that is debatable but you get my point....we have a massive,massive history here.

Your right in saying bringing in LvG doesn't mean that the worlds best will want to join us,there are world class players over the globe who dream of playing for Utd...that is a fact.

Yes we are not in the Cl but we will have to pay bigger wages to attract the players we want and I am sure it will be in their contract that they will only be out of Europe's top competition for one season.

People keep banging on about this and although it is a factor,there are many clubs who have kept top class stars happy without Champions League football,Liverpool and Stevie G,Luis Suarez are just a minor example.
