That is why I'm frustrated, the transfer window is about to close and we aren't strengthening where it counts. I know the injuries are stretching our midfield to the breaking point, but nothing matters unless we have a goal scorer and we just don't yet. If we were going to make a last minute signing it should have been for a top quality (in terms of our budget at least) striker.

Don't underestimate experience though. I agree with your striker comments. nugent reeks of championship in my opinion. Deadline day will be interesting mate. You don't fancy taking Jozy Altidore off us do you?

Was quite confident about last away match but i can't see anything but a defeat against QPR tomorrow. Don't know why, I just can't see us even getting a point. Hate going to grounds like QPR. Fancy us more against spurs at home next week (despite Spurs good form)

I'm not unhappy, but I think our weakest area is our strikers, so I wish they signed someone of his level up front instead.

Well, I was spot on. New season, same crap! Roll over and die against teams we should be beating. Pathetic. 3 in by Monday or it's another relegation scrap.
